Will this rant ever be over?!
A review of the Wednesday 10/28/09 episode.
Hope/Bo/Carly/Maggie/Justin – I was happy to see that Bo was a little more like the guy Carly knew in the 1990s today, risking all sorts of heat to keep her at the house and protect her from being arrested for murder. The repeated interruptions at the house were contrived and a little too corny to be humorous. But I did find it amusing that Maggie mistook Carly for Hope through the window. Those two ladies look very similar to each other. But I wonder who Hope thought Bo had brought to the house when she threw the blanket at him? Did she think he’d picked up a prostitute or a one-night-stand at a bar or what? Justin was as usual woefully underused today, philosophizing about life moving fast…and that was about it.
Phillip/Stephanie/Nathan/Melanie – More Stephanie/Melanie snarkfest, yawn. More Nathan/Phillip face-off, yawn. Another scene with the porn film couple, yawn.
EJ/Chad/Mia/Will – Mostly boring filler, saved by James Scott’s acting. I loved how he grabbed that puppy Chad by the ear and dragged him across the mansion. If he killed him with a blow of the belt like he did with Patrick Lockhart, then I’d be really impressed. Also, I liked how today we actually saw how EJ really needs Sydney and just can’t go there in order to let her go. As for the riveting scenes of Chad, Mia and Will, the less said, the better.
Nicole/Sami/Stefano – The Nicole/Sami scene was just another monotonous teaser scene that’s getting to be so been there, done that. But the show came alive when Sami walked into Stefano’s hospital room and gave him what-for. This is the Sami that I want back! And I’m glad Stefano can still bring out the mean streak in her, even if this scene is undoubtedly going to lead to more teaser. As for Stefano, he was hilarious with the zingers. I kind of like the flirting/bitchiness between Stefano and the head nurse. I fucking loved Stefano’s Call Button method at the hospital in order to have privacy. I’ll have to remember that if I’m ever unfortunate enough to have to spend the night in a hospital.

Oh my god that scene with Stefano and the call button had me laughing out loud! I am sure he improvised. Damn when he is good he is fucking GREAT! I think all in all the show is picking up ........

Have to say I have NOT enjoyed days in a very long time and now have to quit.

I never liked Passions and I dont like what This producer has done.
I think I have to say Steve Kayla and John live but Days has passed on.
