Today's show was somewhat entertaining. Once again, it was the vets carrying the show.
Joe Mascolo was amazing. The Diva loved his line to EJ about his "interchangeable bleached blonde bimbos" that had his children. The show needs Stefano. I'm tired of seeing Stefano in a hospital bed near death. He needs to be out and about scaring the crap out of people.
EJ grabbed a clue. He thinks Stefano knew about Nicole's deception. It seemed like an odd guess on his part. Anyway, I was distracted by James' partially unbuttoned shirt. Yummy.
Nicole and Kate were great today. At first, I didn't see why Kate was trying to prevent Nicole from leaving. Kate and Nicole never liked each other, so that didn't make any sense. Then Kate advised Nicole to leave with Sydney so that Will wouldn't be saddled with his sometime girlfriend's baby. Great line by Nicole today about how she might stick around to seduce one of Kate's sons. lol
Mia/Chad/Will snoozefest again. I know that Sydney isn't Mia and Chad's kid, even if she were, I wouldn't want to stick cute little Sydney in a storyline with those 3. Keep Sydney with the vets so I won't miss her when I flip the channel on Mia/Chad/Will.
The Brady/Arianna scenes were worthless. Teresa Hartley looks like she's never held a gun in her life. I don't buy her as a cop. "Brianna" argued a bit, then ate, and had sex. blah blah blah. Even the set was awful. It looked like a little girl's bedroom. I think Arianna hides her Barbie dolls under the bed when men come over.
Victor convinces Hope to move in with him at the KiMansion. Considering Hope donated $500,000 to some charity, you'd think she could afford a hotel room or an apartment. I know DOOL is trying to save money by using fewer sets, but this is getting ridiculous. But we need Justin and Hope under the same roof for some sexual tension. I don't mind Bope breaking up. They bore me to tears. Bring on Jope!
Best actor/actress today: the actress playing Sydney. The look the baby gave Nicole when Stefano called her on the plane was priceless.

ReplyDeleteArianna is not credible as the tough girl who has to deal with badass like Victor or Ej, i wouldn't believe one second the girl as a drug dealer or even a cop.
She is more "alive" than the old Arianna (who was dull, cold and judgmental) because she has a vulnerability but this time she is too much "vulnerable", she seems always on the verge of tears or with the "worried look"..really not the badass look, quite the opposite actually..miscast in my opinion..she can be believable as the "damsel in distress" but that's all..
Sydney : cutie pie, she is really the Johnny's sister (another cutie pie..hehe).
Cutie pie Sydney is my favorite part of the baby-switch storyline; unlike it, she's delightfully unpredictable.
