Monday's eppy

The Diva saw another hit/miss episode of DOOL today.
EJole again was amazing. James Scott is doing Emmy worthy material daily now. He was mocking, sarcastic, and hurt. Just brilliant. Arianne was wonderful too as Nicole finally told EJ most of the truth. You can see the burden being lifted off her shoulders.
The Bo/Justin scene at the Pub seemed bizarre. Why would Bo ask Justin, the man he accused of having an affair with his wife, legal advice on his marriage? I can see why he needs a lawyer. Hope's keeping Ciara away from him, and he doesn't know where. Maybe he should check to see if Larry Welch is truly, most sincerely dead. lol
The Carly/Lawrence stuff still seems a little out of place. Lawrence's death scene was a bit cheesy acting wise from Michael Sabatino. He overacted a bit. Carly wiped the bloody part of the knife on the inside of his jacket. I'm assuming she was trying to wipe off fingerprints, but why wouldn't she wipe off the handle instead of the blade? I did like the plane scene. It's hard to act with sunglasses on, but you could feel Carly's despair.
Brady wasn't happy that Mia blabbed to everyone about her daughter. I liked Mia being sarcastic to Brady, at least she showed a new emotion. I'm just not feeling the angst about breaking up with Will. She doesn't seem that annoyed about being with Chad. Taylor's just not running with the ball they gave her.
Sami's still unemployed. Today she hit up Maggie for a job. It's nice to have Maggie acknowledge Sami's lack of work experience, nice touch of reality. There were some great zingers by Ali today about Kate being her reference on death row. lol
Kate and Stefano dined at Chez Rouge. Kate seemed concerned about Stefano's management of his health. Unfortunately for Kate, all Maggie saw was Kate putting salt on Stefano's food. Stefano's a happy groom. He wants to wine and dine his new wife.
Chloe is not going to stay faithful for long. lol Was it just this Diva, or did she seem way too happy to see Philip today? She's not over him. Philip gave her annulment papers from Lucas and noticed her engagement ring.
Daniel seriously needs to stfu. He actually had the nerve to say that Lucas was childish and needed to grow up. Does the show really think we feel sympathy for the "victims" Danloe instead of the victim Lucas? Daniel practically called Chloe a martyr because she carries all the guilt. Guilt only kept her legs together for a few months. Obviously, Daniel has not guilt. I don't see how viewers are supposed to cheer for this narcissistic doctor.

I thought that to about Daniel I remember thinking WTH you don't even really know Lucas just like you don't know Chloe very well ugh. Yea Michael kinda overacted but I didn't mind to much the guy doesn't act that much anymore so he's rusty. I enjoyed the plane scene Crystal was rocking the sunglasses but she was dressed in an outfit that just screamed (I did something bad and I'm on the run) EJ and Nicole were on fire today they were both really good.

ReplyDeleteI had to shake my head when Bo said Hope had no right to make a decision about what is right for their daughter on her own....hello Bo...that is the same reason that Hope was angry when you did the very same thing concerning the kidnapping and snatching the phone from her and going on TV. I hate that the writers are throwing the character of Hope under the bus. Hope would never not allow Bo to even talk to Ciara. No way! They are really going full guns to destroy Bo/Hope all for the sake of a character that hasn't been on or even mentioned for 16 years...and to think I was actually looking forward to what is suppose to be a Bo and Hope storyline.
ReplyDeleteI suspect Hope and Justin will hook up before Bo and Carly ever do. Assuming it even happens. As if the possibility of Carly as Mia's mother weren't bad enough, there are rumblings (per Daytime Confidential's latest podcast) of a Carly/Daniel pairing.
ReplyDeleteI was incredibly entertained by Arianne(Nicole) and James (EJ), I was so hoping she would come out with ALL the truth, and tell EJ the truth about Sydney real parents. Love today's episode!!

ReplyDeleteFor Nicole : she didn't said most of the truth but just 1/4 of the truth unfortunately..(i think she will never said the truth..too much insecurities, selfishness for that).
James Scott was good but not really good; he can do better than that. I hope when he will discover the whole truth.
I really want Sami to find a job, to be an independent woman who take cares of her children while being funny, witty and snarky..and to forget Rafe ! (he is toxic for her character seriously).
I loved the episode especially Carly and Lawrence.

I definately noticed the same with phil and chloe. But then again to me Nadia and Jay have undeniable chemistry....even in platonic scenes it comes through. Frankly they should keep Nadia/chloe with the one on screen man she sparkles and livens up around. Philip definately reacted to her engagement ring....he was taken aback an a little jealous.

Sabatino is maybe out of practice cause that scene was TERRIBLE. So cheesy! And I agree with whoever said they are sacrificing Hope's character for Carly.
ReplyDeleteThe Phloe fans are creaming themselves over Diva mentioning Chloe possibly cheating on Daniel with Philip. Besides the J&M fans, the Phloe fans are the most annoying.
ReplyDeleteI am really loving the show right now thanks to James, Ari, Lauren and Joe M. The teen scene is no longer being shoved down our throats and the writers are finally using the vets in a good way. Ok we know they are hinting at a Barly baby and that Justin and Hope will grow closer which I like and that the return of Vivian will hopefully see her coming after Carly's ass for killing her precious Lawrence. I could care less about Danloe, Phloe or anyone Chloe is with. Daniel and Chloe are useless characters and need to sail blissfully away. Mia is just a bore and the actress has not improved. Time for a recast.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing more of EJ and Nicole go at it and seeing what will became of Kate and Stefano. Is Kate trying to knock him off for the DiMera fortune and that sexy stepson or does Stefano have Kate's number and is testing his lovely wife?
