Austin back in Salem?
God, no...not again...
In Michael Fairman's Advocate interview, the possibility of Austin Peck returning to DAYS came up.
"So what if Days came a-calling and asked Austin back for a return engagement? Would he consider heading back to Salem? 'Oh, yeah, I would go back in a New York minute. There have been some calls. So we shall see.'"
Let us all pray to the Soap Gods that this is talk only. Two rounds of Assdumb Reed in Salem were two times too many. Shouldn't there be a limitation on how many talentless underwear models are allowed on a soap at one time?
Well, not on a Tomlin soaps, since he is a follower of the JERk school of soaps, hot bodied boys over talent.

ReplyDeleteHey, I say PRAY FOR CRAP. The worse it becomes is the only chance to save the show. Because if it really gets bad, then something FINALLY may be done, someone WITH A BRAIN might realize that PASSonization of soaps is not a good thing, that acting is actually something for which to strive, that being over 40 does not mean you are not sexy nor worthless, that shit writing should not be praised but should be punished. Maybe then PASS II ends, and DAYS really returns -- or at least DAYS' last few months is DAYS and it wraps up with actors/characters who made DAYS special.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Please someone have mercy on us poor Days viewers. I cannot take anymore dumb, boring, pretty boys in Salem unless they are entombed behind a brick wall. Ok the only reason I would agree to Austin coming back is if it would be followed by Carrie who would then receive a visit from her long lost mother and stepfather. Shit I will take any reason to get Tanna back to Salem.

ReplyDeleteWell, I did not think that Muldoon was any better. He too was stiff and his Assdum was beyond pathetic. I could not believe the guy could not even pretend to play the piano, he just sat there and did not even try to look like he was moving his hands on the keyboard; and he had that Neanderthal forehead going.

I hope this is just wishful thinking on Peck's part. Otherwise TPTB are even bigger idiots than I imagined.
