WINNER OF THE WEEK – Vivian Alamain. Just for fucking being here!
LOSER OF THE WEEK – Poor Sydney Dimera. She’s gonna be such a messed-up bitch once she gets SORASed.
SCENE OF THE WEEK – Kate and Stefano’s reunion at the hospital. Full of flirtation and threats.
PERFORMER OF THE WEEK – Joe Mascolo. He had great scenes this week with Nicole, Kate, Sami and Maxine. He even made a scene with Mia entertaining. One of those actors who I’ll tune in for just to watch him read the phone book.
ZINGER OF THE WEEK – Stefano to Sami: “Will this rant ever be over? Maybe I could call the nurse and have her increase my morphine…”
FIRED VET MENTIONS OF THE WEEK – Stefano comparing Sami to Marlena, saying she had “her fire and her spunk…but no class”. And of course Sami referred to Stefano’s dead children…which counts as a Tony reference in my book.

I couldn't be happier that Vivian's back, but I have a sinking feeling TIIC won't give her the screen time her awesome character deserves.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why they didn't conclude the Friday eppy with the Vivian reveal. That would've been a much more exciting cliffhanger than the Rafe/Arianna scene, which I was too bored to pay attention to.
Why cant the writers just let EJ and Sami get together, love each other and their children? Now I guess we must endure some dumb attraction between Arianna nd EJ. It is so easy to see that the best connection on Days (and other soaps) is EJ and Sami. They could be the next Luke and Laura if the writers would just write for them!
