LS gives great interview! If Vivian's return is half as entertaining, we're in for a treat.
I'm puzzled by LS's "There's no rehearsal anymore!" comment. Is that really the case? If so, when and why did DOOL drop rehearsals? Some of their weaker cast members should be rehearsing around the clock.
I didn't know LS was on Passions. I can't wrap my mind around the image of her character gutting tuna in a fish cannery. WTF?
I was thinking, on PASS, and she is back on DAYS -- PASS people, CC and she asked to DAYS, and Suzanne getting airtime. What do they all have in common; hmm???? That's right, they are friends of Tomlin.
Though, I noticed she really said how much she dislikes LA, maybe it was a little tongue-in-cheek. But I get the feeling she would not want to stay permanently or for too long intervals. So, it does not seem to be a long run.
I think it has been awhile.... at least since the late 90s -- maybe even before. When I was at the studio they were taping in the morning. And I remember that in the past they rehearsed in the mornings, had a few takes and then in the afternoons taped what was to air. But then at least in 2001, they were taping in the daytime and some scenes in the afternoons. Actors did not have to stay all day at the studio -- unless they were filming something big.

"Vivian Returns on Friday!"
ReplyDeleteSince Oct. 30 is LS's first airdate, I assume you mean the Friday of next week, not this Friday.
