DOOL renewed through 2011

  1. Is it a fact, no source has confirmed it and who is this woman she is just some soap writer and it is not even a legitimate soap source.

  2. She may not be legitimate since she's telling it like it is about the newbies and the fired vets and not spewing out the party line rah-rah Gary Tomlin spin.

  3. From what I am reading she is inferring to one of Il Douche's resent posts, in that post he said insider information told him that if the show continued with the current ratings boast it might be renewed through 2011, a year longer than the original plan.

But she is right about the newbies and the vets. She better watch out because if she expects to get show interviews she has to get on the Tomlin Love train.

  4. With the spoilers i don't know if i want this soap to be renewed..The TPTB strive hard to prob the actors from Passion and their characters aka Rafe and Arianna Hernandez : they have paired Rafe with Sami and now they will paired Arianna with Ej !! Yes what a bloody perfect idea..sigh..uber sarcasm..they destruct ejami again and again and again for that..i am sad..it's just a soap but i am sad..we had Nicole during more than a year but now we have Arianna (at least AZ is a good actress who can act opposite JS...LH really not so much..sigh).
This is my rant for today !!

  5. Even if she isn't legit, I'll give her some hits since she's obviously not a kool aid drinker. The Diva is happy to support any blogger/journalist that doesn't kiss Tomlin's ass. Good for her.

I know Nelson said DOOL is probably renewed. The last time, it was in the legit press for several months before it was for sure renewed.

  6. It is good she does not kiss up to Dork or Tomlin, but if she uses Il Douche as a legitimate source it negates her cred. She should have first spoken with someone for DAYS and NBC. And I still have little faith that she will not start drinking the Kool Aide, as if it were Dom Perignon, to kiss up to the morons at DAYS -- I hope I am wrong.

  7. I wonder if the ongoing talks with Comcast will affect the timing of the renewal decision and announcement. Perhaps they'll defer it until there's a resolution on that front.

  8. NBC did not make decisions until March in the past, that is why I do not believe it is a fait accompli. I think that if things continue then there is a good chance but I do not believe NBC, and soap hating idiot Zucker has decided to save DAYS as of yet.

And I think they will have to wait until Comcast deal is settled either way, they will be the parent company. Now, since Comcast is an entertainment industry it might care more about fixing NBC and soaps than GE -- and I do not follow Comcast, but I wager financially it is doing better than GE has been doing. Since Comcast has Hulu, and is an internet provider and has its own cable stations they might be more willing to save DAYS, and not just by renewing it but by making sure the show is well produced, written and acted. I also would wonder if Comcast buys NBC if it could not then re-air DAYS on its own station, not Soap Net, and in doing so make money -- right now NBC gets nothing from the Soap Net deal, or at least I do not think so.
