Let's see Bryan never was on PASS, and he is a Horton (Tomlin is killing off that family, and his newbie is not a Horton but a fabricated one): Definitely he will be fired. I am thinking Lauren will be going, too; they are putting Kate in a place where she cannot get out, and they have Sorel back, so Vivian will be doing the Kate stuff. I bet, too, that Philip is an Alamain not a Roberts.
It is not as though TPTB have not fired people, Matt and Thaao multiple times, Drake, Dee, Leann, Mary Beth and Stephen. The show is crap and hates actors and hates the fans even more -- except the teens and those who accept anything.
I'd hate to see Bryan go but, honestly, what have his fans done for him lately? They spend all their time attacking another actor whom they perceive as a threat to Lucas and Sami instead sharing their love for Bryan with positive Lucas campaigns.
I would hate anyone to lose their job especially in this economy, but what have the writers been doing with Lucas? He wasn't even a major player in his own story. Kate, Daniel, and comatose Chloe got all the air time.
Mag campaigns are all good and dandy, but it's TPTB that matter in the end. if Tomlin and the Hag don't have a hard on for BD like they do with AZ,GG, and MB then your shit out of luck.
I feel bad for BD if it's true. If anyone deserves to be let go it's GG for his lack of ability to act; which is required in his profession.
Considering who was fired, and the actors the fans want back and the ones TIIC have hired instead, I would say that the fans' opinions do not matter, and only Tomlin's and Dena's do. But that has been true since Langan and Reilly took since the twin witches took over the show in the early 90s.
But at this point, DAYS will not be on after next year, it is just getting worse, and with AMC heading to the Left Coast, and other soaps hiring DAYS actors, it might be a positive. You might have thought it was the worst thing ever to have missed your ship, but when it was the Titanic it turned out to be the best thing ever.
I have to agree that Tomlin has his clear favorites and he'll be getting rid of the actors/actresses who don't fit with that vision. The only actors safe on the show are the Passions transplants, AZ and MB. Everyone else is fair game.

If Bryan is let go he deserves to be picked up by another soap ASAP and the sorry idiots at DOOL can watch the ship sink slowly without any vets left....did AS re-sign a contract or is she on her way out too as her contract is also expiring soon and we all know she doesn't need DOOL to survive I bet she won't be too happy if BD goes...
Unless they turn Lucas evil this character has no where to go. I suspect that Bryan has already taped his last scene and he doesn't know it. My guess is that they have already tapped the emotional good-bye scenes where Lucas goes off to rehab and then that will be it for Lucas. It will probably be mentioned that after rehab Lucas elected to take a job in either Colorado or in Europe. I won't say that this is the end for Lucas because if the show continues and if Bryan is willing to come back in a few years they could bring Lucas back. But for now my guess is BD is out of a job. There is just no room for a character like Lucas right now. And when they said that Lucas was going off to rehab well that was like the nail in the coffin. Tomlin needs the salary savings to prop up his own people, GG, LH, EM. Not to mention Carly and Vivian will need an entourage. As far as AS and AZ watch out LH is going to steal their thunder and will certainly becoming Days new leading lady taking over the time spot for most episodes. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't let go of a few more actors too. Bubble characters imo are Kate, Stephanie, Stefano, EJ, Nicole, Daniel, Chloe and Lucas of course.

Naw, Nadia is the perfect person for DAYS, she definitely is safe. I think EJ is as well, since the show is all about villains now. Daniel is a porn character and scumbag doctor, another kind of person the jerks ruining DAYS and NBC love. I see Lauren going since they will be shifting to the Alamain family. Nicole probably is out as well, Ari has acting skills, which is the most grievous of sins in the PASS mentality which governs the show. I also could see they firing Stefano again, the battle will be between the Alamains and Kiriakises.
I think the most likely characters to be written off would be Lucus, Danloe (the happy couple spoiler sounded like the kiss of death) and Stephanie with the spoiler about Philip and Nathan tripping over themselves over Melanie. I don't see Kate going anywhere with Vivian coming on board.
Daytime Diva since you were the one to let it slip that Louise Sorel is reprising her role as Vivian Alamain I will believe any rumor/spoiler you post. I've seen the signs for a while that Lucas could be going soon. Its a dam shame really because unlike GG he can act.

SOS (Save our Stud) campaigns have been started and were actually not needed. The BD fanbase doesn't seem to be alarmed about this latest rumor. No SOS going up they seem pretty confident that not only is BD still employed but they seem to think he's headed for a big storyline. I guess we will see. Perhaps this time he'll really go.
