  1. I'm amazed DAYS is doing this good.

Too bad we don't have a decent writer we'd be in second place.

  2. Just kill the show please.

Maybe then they can start back in 84, or I would even like to see the 70s stuff.

Notice DAYS was in bad trouble in 81, after years of great material, and then jumped up in later 81 and 82, and guess who was writing during that time, yeap Tomain.

  3. How long before there are only two or three soaps left on the air? The micro-managing but greedy suits who prefer to sell sleaze over substance, to promote the specious concept that gearing shows to teens is the future of TV and advertising, and that teens love hateful behavior, is killing the genré, soaps are a uniquely American product, and from the origins of television, through the the 80s and 90s network executives realized this, they also realized that gear the shows to adults, and that romance over porn, characters over gimmicks, and character driven plots over shock plots garnered not just "housewives." but all demographics of viewers. I began when there were no teens, despite being a teen. I liked seeing characters wait for sex, for characters being sexual and emotionally faithful, I liked the familial connections, and how bad guys were not deified because the actors had hard bodied abs -- cough, EJ -- but were instead the antagonists and the characters whom the good guys fought, and those who were bad, Jack and Steve, actually went through a slow and conscious process of redemption, and their crimes were not erased, or forgotten, but more than anyone they hated themselves for it, and struggled.

  4. Yes i really would like to see Ej deal with his misdeeds whereas to see him as the dumb clueless husband and son (don't forget Stephano's betrayal). Why the writers can't be competent ?

  5. Well, once you tried to kill numerous people, and got off on torturing people, YOU CANNOT BE REDEEMED. Get rid of the sick pig.
