3/16/10 review - Anna's Holy Shit Moment

Nicole/Anna/Faye –Anna has a HOLY SHIT! moment when Nicole calls her on her cell phone, telling her to come on over and visit. While Anna hustles back to Salem, Nicole gets a guilt trip lecture from Faye. Nicole’s relationship with her mom is still as warm and fuzzy as ever, I see. Nicole confronts Anna that she knows about the kidnapping. More Annacole! Do you hear that, Corday & Co.? Don’t throw away gold, dudes. Ari and Leann rocked it today!

Stephanie/Nathan – Stephanie confesses to Nathan about the letter. The bimbo is surprised and upset when Nathan is more than a little pissed off at her.

Max/Bo/Philip – After Max’s visit with his not-really sister, he spends much of his time today engaging in conversations with and about all of his past lovers. Bo and Max philosophize about the fleeting nature of love. It’s really tough to go through women like running water! He then spends about five seconds being Melanie’s big brother to Philip, threatening that Philip better not break Melanie’s heart. Then he has a coma-inducing heart-to-heart with ex-flame Stephanie. Okay, now I remember why I didn’t like Max in the first place.

Vivian/Hope – Vivian has a gravestone made for Lawrence. OK, now we know he’s not dead. They never show graves of characters if they’re really dead. Hope and Vivian compare Dead Zach the Innocent to Dead Lawrence the Monster. I really wish Larry’s rape victim, Jennifer Deveraux, could have been in on this conversation. LMAO at Hope’s disgusted headshake as Vivian talks crazily at Lawrence’s grave.

Carly – Saint Carly the Martyr of Salem proceeds to bravely march towards the fiery stake with tears in her eyes as Hope, Justin and Bo try to talk her out of being an idiot. We are treated to a series of Melanie/Carly flashbacks as if we’re supposed to be seriously moved by them.

Melanie/Daniel – Melanie the Salem Serial Scene Killer works her mischief on Max and Daniel. Deciding to wreak more havoc, she goes over to the courthouse to kill Carly’s Great Sacrifice Scene too while she’s at it.

  1. I just loved watching Nicole put Anna in her place at the prison. Especially the part where Nicole called Anna out by telling that Anna regrets marrying Tony when she could had done so much better by marrying the Gov. Ford.

I always suspected that deep down Anna knew that it was a mistake to marry that worm Tony and that she could done a million times better with Gov. Ford.

If you will notice, Anna never denied it when Nicole pointed out her deep regret not to marry the powerful and handsome governor instead of that twerp Tony.

  3. So with the Governor showing up, it looks like Anna may be staying in Salem. Hurray!

I quit watching this show years ago, because...well, it was horribly written. It's improved considerbly this past year. Congrats on the renewal! Glad to see their making better use of the actors -- instead of just focusing on the teeny boppers.
