Peter Graves dead at 83
Peter Graves, known to a lot of us here as Thaao Penghlis' cast mate on MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, died at the age of 83. The MSNBC report is as follows:
Peter Graves, the tall, stalwart actor likely best known for his portrayal of Jim Phelps, leader of a gang of special agents who battled evil conspirators in the long-running television series "Mission: Impossible," died Sunday.
Graves died of an apparent heart attack outside his Los Angeles home, publicist Sandy Brokaw said. He would have been 84 this week

ReplyDeletep.s : Thaao Penghlis was very good in it, anyway TP is a good actor and Dool TPTB are some super morons to get rid of him (for some hair models from Passions..)
One question : do you remember if Thaao was already on Mission : impossible when the great Martin Landau was here ? I think it was before his period but i am not sure.
Martin Landau was on the original back in the 60s. Thaao was on the revival in the late 80s
ReplyDeleteRIP Peter I adored MI but he was hilarious in Airplane. A bit of trivia I didn't know, Peter's brother was James Arness (Matt Dillon in Gunsmoke)
