Cast Memorial for Frances Reid

Ali Sweeney described the off-screen private memorial for DAYS crew and cast on Facebook:

"A million emotions at Frances Reid's memorial tonight. She was a strong, proud, fabulously talented actress. We will all miss her. Suzanne reminded us of how intimidated we were to meet her because of her experience and wisdom, Deidre had us laughing hysterically at Frances' quirks and forthright manner. Bill Hayes charmed us with stories of their past, and Susan Seaforth Hayes made us laugh, cry and remember how lucky we all were to have known her.


The montage her family assembled was beautiful, and a touching look into her personal history that many didn't ever get to see. And then there was a fun, gorgeous clip reel of some past scenes with MacDonald Carey that had us all swooning with how incredibly talented they were, and of course, funny with all the out-takes that went along with it.

Getting to see Missy Reeves, Peter, Kristian, Deidre, Wayne, Jason Cook, Matt Ashford, Christie Clark, Bryan, (me!), so many of us from so many years ago ... I don't know how to put it into words how I felt. I just have to share how lucky and blessed I feel to be part of Days of our Lives."
