Dr. Linus
Tonight's much anticipated eppy of Lost is about the man we love to hate Benjamin Linus. I have a feeling he's going to die tonight. Dammit. That little bastard grew on me! lol Even though I'm still mad he shot Locke in the Dharma pit, and then strangled him to death, I still don't want him to die. This season has been a bit of a bummer for the Ben fans since he's barely been on. Michael Emerson has made me like Ben even though I was cheering for Ben's death for years. lol
There is a preview of tonight's eppy that I can't find right now. Ben is teaching his class about Napoleon's exile. He posed a question to them. What's worse? Is it worse to be in power, then lose it, or to be dead?
I know I didn't blog about "Sundown", Sayid's eppy. Other than the end, it just didn't speak to me as much. I wanted a happy ending in the Sideways Sayid, but Sayid in every life gets manipulated into killing. I guess that's just in his soul, that he's around death and violence. I'm glad he killed Keamy. lol That character totally gives me the creeps. He saved Jin, so that's nice. He still doesn't get the girl.
The island stuff again was more interesting. Dogen was hoping that nuLocke would kill Sayid for him. Dogen knew that Sayid was going to kill him that's why he tried to kill him off three times. But Dogen knew it was his fate for Sayid to kill him. I don't care that Lennon is dead, whatever. I enjoyed the Claire/Kate thing. Kate being involved in nuLocke's gang is going to be interesting. You know she's going to try to turn Claire from nuLocke. It's nice to see that nuLocke doesn't control everything. Kate threw him a surprise. His curiosity is peeked, just like when Sawyer surprised him by seeing the little jungle kid. From reading some Lost blogs, I guess I'm the only one who noticed a burning cross at the Temple massacre. It was part of the structure that held up the bell. I thought that was an obvious symbol of the evilness of nuLocke, but no one noticed that but me. I still don't think that Jacob is all good especially with the deal he made with Dogen to be banished from his son's life in order to save it.
I'll blog tonight. Can't wait.
I do have a theory that Lost is one big game of chess.

I have always loved Benjamin Linus no matter what.
ReplyDeleteSince he was introduced as Henry i found him mysterious and captivating, i always wanted to know more about this character, what he was going to do, how he would get out of his manipulations.
I don't think Jacob is good like i don't think Dogen is good. Why it has always to be a good and a evil, actually i don't think in God but if i would believe in him God would not be a good guy for me. Haha maybe i am twisted maybe i am just realistic, who knows.. Human beings are complex and God should be complex.
