Congrats to the fans of Stephen and Mary Beth who have pulled together and made this a viable campaign. Not only was it mentioned in SOD Insider but it was also mentioned in SOW Mailbag this week. We are keeping their names out there and showing folks we are not going away no matter how badly Corday probably wishes we would.

Thanks Diva for keeping the Skorks in your blog! We're working hard for Stephen and Mary Beth! They deserve to be on a show that respects the vets and their fans!
I am glad to hear they are getting press attention and hope that soon they land a soap and I agree Y and R does a great job of using all there cast and appreciates talent so it would be a great fit. I am actually amazed they stayed off our screens this long since they were winning the SOD best actor, actress, and couple poll week after week which you have to have a huge fanbase to do. The only reason I can see that they haven't gotten another soap yet is the financial problems the soaps are in but lets hope that one realizes it is worth it because not only do you get the incredible acting talents of Nichols and Evans but if the SOD poll is any sign you get the biggest fanbase on soaps not to mention a very loyal one. I have no doubt its a fanbase that would follow them to any show with their strong determination to keep them out there and keep their names on people's minds. I hope it works out because they are two of the best and really missed.
I think the S&K have so much to offer Y&R. They have so many fans from thier twenties and many in their thirties- because SN and MB have been their favorities since they were young)and all demogrphics. Personally,I was never interested in Y&R in years past but lately I have watched a some episodes and like what I see and think SN&MB could enhance this show, grab up viewers who just can not tolerate Days at all anymore! If they join this cast they would gain so many viewers who have not only lost their couple but the soap they have always loved is gone. SN+MB would bring in life long fans who would love to call CBS and Y&R home! Loyal fans who watch daily. Most importantly I can think of many ways they can fit into the Y&R cast!!!
