Friday's eppy

 

How not to wake someone up from a coma.

Stephanie/Nathan.  Sex. Skiing.  Stephanie rips up Melanie's declaration of love to Nathan.  Nathan doesn't answer the phone when Maggie calls to tell him about Mel.  

Brady/Ariana.  Briana celebrate Mel's coma by having sex.  Brady leaves for the hospital.

Mel/Phil/Maggie.  Mel gets visits from Philip and Maggie.  Even Maggie couldn't get this Diva to cry with her tearful pleas to Mel to wake up.  Even if you don't read spoilers, you know that Mel won't die. I hate hospital scenes for the miraculously healed.  We all know she'll be healthy quite quickly.

Bo/Carly.  Bo bails out Carly who complained about her awful night in jail.  Boo friggin hoo.  DumBo takes out a loan to spring Carly.  Carly has a restraining order preventing her from going near her shooting victim.  Carly knows Bo will lose his money if she sees Melanie, so she goes anyway.  Well, looks like Bo's out of Hope, and change.  lol

Hope/Justin.  Justin is with Hope at her  hospital bedside.  Against doctor's orders, Hope leaves to go to the police station.

Chloe/Daniel.  Daniel wants Chloe to see a shrink.  Chloe's not thrilled.

Mel/Brady.  Brady visits Mel at the hospital and says she's like a sister to him.  Awwwwwww.

Bope.  Hope fills in Bo that his dad knew Viv wanted Melanie killed.  Hope learns that Bo blew his money on Carly's bail.  Hope realizes he does love Carly, and leaves in tears.  That was a bigger tearjerker than anything going in Mel's hospital room.  Bo is speechless, which I do not have a problem with.  lol

Chloe/Ari.  They are at the Pub.  I wonder if they'll ever give Ari a better job than waiting tables.  Chloe cancels her shrink appointment.

Phil/Justin.  Justin clues in Philip on what Vivian did.  Phil's not happy.  When Phil's not angry, he's super hot!  For this part, I can't wait for Monday.  Great purple shirt too.  Very sexy.

Maggie/Dan.  Dan touched Maggie's shoulder or something.  And yeah, it creeped me out.  For Pete's sake, she's only been widowed a month!  lol  

Carly/Dan/Mel.  Carly sneaks into the hospital dressed as a doctor.  Of course, no one spots her even though she's dressed like that daily.  Dan finally spots her.  She's forbidden to be at the hospital under police orders.  He tells her that she shouldn't see Melanie because it would cause a great shock to Melanie putting her life in danger.  Of course, Carly wants to see her anyway.  Dan lets her since he learned nothing from letting Nicole badger Tony to death.  So Carly, visits her daughter.  It's a very nice scene really.  Carly gets up to leave, and Melanie wakes up.

Blah with a few highlights.  Hope's pain when she found out Bo went broke for Carly was heartbreaking.  Great job by Kristian Alfonso.  Jay Kenneth Johnson did some Jack Nicholson channeling from "The Shining" when he called up the stairs for Vivian to come down.  Crystal Chappell was pretty good at Melanie's bed side.  I'd score the eppy a B.
