11/5 review
A review of Thursday, 11/5/09 episode.
Carly/Bo – I’m surprised how much I’m starting to enjoy this now that the story is really good and started. Maybe just watching established characters with real history on the show is a treat for me these days. The Bo/Carly relationship has been improving this week. Maybe Reckell and Chappell have been watching some of their old stuff on YouTube. They are getting that familiar rapport back. And I love every appearance of Lawrence’s ghost. But damn, is that fugly orange blanket the only blanket that Bo and Hope own? I didn’t know the recession hit them so hard!
Hope/Victor/Justin – More good stuff. I had to laugh when Victor was calling Carly a “predator”. Selective memory, Uncle Vic? Although Hope was just off the phone, I suspect Vivian's really the one who tipped off the FBI.
Arianna/EJ/Sami/Rafe – So far, EJ is actually making Arianna more watchable and has not been dragged down yet. Or maybe I’m just pathetically happy that I’m actually watching EJ in a scene that doesn’t have to do with any more babies! Arianna seems to despise him; thus, EJ’s getting all hot and bothered. However, I can already predict that watching Brady and EJ fight over yet another woman is going to be monotonous. I halfway enjoyed the SAFE reunion yesterday. I halfway was interested in the first EJanna scene today. But when EJAMI were together again at the end of the show with Baby Sydney, I saw the error of my ways. James Scott and Ali Sweeney have real chemistry together that can’t be bought.
Brady/Nicole – zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…I detect a pattern of constantly falling asleep during all of Brady’s scenes these days.
Phillip/Melanie/Nathan – While I think Melanie looks so much better with curly hair than straight and her wardrobe is improving, the fact of the matter is she’s still a stupid tramp.
Me too i enjoyed Bo and Carly : they have a really good friendship chemistry, for romantic we will see, for now it's not here but i think it is wanted.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit CC is charming, i don't know i like her attitude, her acting choice. I begin to understand her worship by many people.Ok i stop the gushing myself ! lol
Hope/Victor/Justin : i like these characters but i didn't find their interaction interesting..kind of meh..for me.
Victor is a real busybody, he should be paired with Maggie (have a lot in common) and really Carly is the "predator" ?? Victor king of dishonesty..lol
Arianna/Ej/Sami/Rafe: here we go for the Hernandez sibling involved in Ejami land !! youhou !! bloody fantastic..wink wink..
JS usually can have chemistry with everybody (or everything) but here with Arianna i see...nothing, niet, nada !! The guy tried though with lot's of smirk/smiles but the hand stroking was just..creepy..not sexy at all (weird acting choice i don't know..)He was quite amused but like he would be amused to gloating face to Rafe (by the way he made the comparison Rafe/Arianna lol). Maybe it was wanted, we will see if with more scenes between them it will be different..but for now i am really not convinced (to say the least).
For LH she is a pretty girl who can play vulnerability quite well (but really not toughness, badass type..it's laughable when she tries) but her eyes really really disturb me, they are really big no ? kind of google-eyed/bug-eyed..it's not really attractive..so maybe it's a problem chemistry wise..
Rafe and Sami are kind of cute but it's not enough and quickly boring..
Ej and Sami the last scene : the real deal. enough said.
Brady/Nicole : I like Brady with Nicole (even if she is a witch and doesn't deserve him lol), she has more chemistry with him than with Ej so i think it's good. Glad he called her on her shit, go Brady have some balls guy ! The scene was cute and funny.
Phillip/Melanie/Nathan : the girl is attracted by Phillie dimples, but wants to stay with the "good guy"..she reminds me somebody.. I prefer her with straight hair..oh come on she is not a tramp..just a girl with needs..lol
One reason the Bo and Carly relationship improved this week is that CC and PR finally got some good character-driven material to play, especially in the Thursday episode. I hope it wasn't a one-day wonder.

I almost laughed out lout with Victor said Carly was a predator lol the man tries to kill his son just so she'll stay married to him and she's the predator ehh he's just upset because she wanted the young buck over him back in the day ;)
ReplyDeleteHey Carly being back is actually turning out to be a good thing if only to see her go down at the hands of Vivian and Victor. Bo and Carly are fun to watch together and I loved when Bo gave it right back to Hope about living with a criminal and not running things by her (hypocrie much Hope?) I hate what they have done to Hope for the sake of the plot.
ReplyDeleteVictor was great with the predator line and LMAO when he said about Carly always playing the victim. Does he read the boards? Please give Justin something to do other than prop Barley and Bope. Get him in bed with someone!
EJ/Arianna EJ makes anyone hot. They can put that man with any woman and she would be interesting. He learned well from older brother Tony.
Poor Brady the man needs some lovin. Queenie still has high hopes for him.
Philip/Melanie/Nathan Damn girl make up your mind. Pick Brady!
