Brady/Arianna – I was slightly amused to see Brady realize what a doofus he is.
Chad/Mia – Yawn. So now that Chad knows Sydney is not his, will never be his and was never his…can he also go undercover with Rafe far far away?
Roman/Caroline/Rafe/Sami/Johnny – So did they inject Baby Sydney with Prozac to make that kid smile so much on cue? Like I said before, I really wish Sydney would have some trouble adjusting, not because I wish unhappiness on a baby, but it’s just a little too much sunshine and roses to be realistic. And when Sydney called Sami “Mama”, that was really laying it on thick.
EJ/Stefano/Kate – So Kate must care about Steffy a little, or she would have just stood back and watched. More “fired vet” mention as Stefano reminded EJ that Tony was the last Dimera who was “dead to me”; and look what happened to him! And then EJ said that he finally saw why Tony disowned Stefano. Funny, I still can’t figure out why Tony “owned” Stefano in the first place, seeing as how he was kept on an island as a prisoner by Stefano for 20 years. Oh, but silly me, I’m actually paying attention to the plot and the characters again!
Phillip/Melanie/Nathan/Stephanie – Seems like since Sami’s slapdown, everyone in Salem is getting slap happy! And Stephanie seems to be getting her horny on where Nathan is concerned. For me, it is still a welcome change from when Stephanie is all goody goody.
Victor/Vivian – Such a tease! Vivian just came out from nowhere. Looking forward to tomorrow’s snarkfest.
Brady/Arianna : The Brady acting was good. He feels conflicted, betrayed and stupid..Nicole did a number on you hein Brady boy !!

Chad/Mia : the confrontation with Nicole was weird..the teens seemed to mock her like she was "the geek made fool by the jock in a highschool fashion way"
But for once Mia was good when she delivered the "our baby Grace is dead"..really good actually !
Ah the Brady family reunion...Sami and Will hug was good and genuine, love this relationship.
But the sappy dialogue about the "Brady Love" and by Sami..i mean Sami freaking Brady, the famous Brady blacksheep...totally WTF..OUT OF CHARACTER !!! If the writers miss that hard the Brady sappy heroines (Marlena/Carrie/Belle) they can bring them back and stop destroyed Sami !! rant, rant..
Why the twins have to leave with Caroline and Roman..Sami and his hero lover can take care of 4 kids for god's sake !!
The Rafe propping has to stop.period. The guy can cuddle these kids but THEIR FATHERS CAN'T ??? bullshit writing for me..
Ej/Stefano : good, very good performances.
Finally Ej stop being delusional about Stefano and see the old man for what he is..long overdue..yes Ej be your own man, stop being the manipulated/baby Dimera soldier of daddy dearest..
Nicole is a loony girl..but not totally insane since she can always manipulate and she has to stop the whining, i am a victim card..it's become annoying, not anymore heartbreaking.
The quadriangle Phil/Mel/Nate/Steph : quite boring but kind of like the characters..the problem is Phil is too old to be paired with late teens..he was with Belle and Chloe and now..Melanie..it's not a good development for his character..looking forwards his interaction with Vivian/Victor.
Big mistake with this square -- Phil/Mel/Nate/Steph. It is boring bigtime -- the only real teen I see in the mix though is Melanie. I feel she belongs in the Chad/Mia/Will sl. She just comes across so immature and as good of an actor as JKJ is I don`t see much chemistry between these 2 characters at all. Everytime he tells us they have so much in common and that she does not try to change him -- I have a need to say well, shouldn`t we see these feels on the screen -- do you really have to fill us in verbally about your feels over and over again???
ReplyDeleteI always assumed that the shots of Sydney in her crib or stroller are filmed separately (perhaps with her RL mother encouraging the happy responses) and edited into her scenes with the actors.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for Sydney's insta-bonding with Sami either. It's totally realistic, and it makes me feel a bit hurt on Nicole's behalf.
Ok in defense of Brady he at least was only fooled by Nicole. EJ was really the bigger doofus being fooled by Nicole, Sami and his own father.
ReplyDeleteStill not loving Mia. Chad is really not needed so why are we keeping him around? He is not the Darly kid so maybe Dr Baker didn't switch babies and Miss Sydney is really his kid after all.
The Brady reunion was too sappy. Give me a good old knockdown drag em out DiMera reunion anytime. Sydney should have wanted the only mommy she has ever known and she should have been screaming her lungs off telling everyone "I'm a DiMera not a friggin Brady!" I was surprised she didn't leave with Roman and Caroline too.
Ok I am afraid for Joe M after that *dead to me* reference with Tony. Powerful scenes once again with EJ and Stefano.
Nicole never stops trying. Have to give her credit for that. She will be BACK!
I still want Nathan and Melanie and someone new for Philip. Not a Stephanie fan. Even when she is trying to be bad she is still too good.
Give me more VIC AND VIV!!!!
