Nature Valley What?
Another WTF moment on Days. In case you think The Diva has gone nuts when you read the title, that is the latest product placement ploy that was used by DOOL in todays show. And they used a cute little kid who couldn't even say it right. Sami had to save the day when little Ali couldn't remember the name of the damn thing. Who can blame her. Then they proceed to drag out a second bag for Grandma Caroline. Sorry Days but that was so forced and did not fit in at all with the show. Come on this was suppose to be all about Alice and you are promoting a bunch of nuts. Shameful!
Except for that shameful act the show was pretty decent today and The Diva was tearing up. Not sure I will be able to handle the funeral.
Hope/Doug Very sweet moments between daughter and father. Doug getting Hope to see that things can change for her and Bo because of their love for Alice. Hope is feeling guilty about not being with Bo when Alice passed away.
Sami/Carrie/Roman Sickening Brady family reunion. So Sami and Carrie have made nice. Can The Diva say BORING. I can understand Sami attacking Anna but when Carrie called her mom a wacko The Diva wanted to smack her a good one. Better yet Anna needs to return for that.
Roman/Bo/Kim/Kayla Nice to see all the Brady siblings together again. Great to have Kim back. Go Kayla telling Bo she is glad Carly isn't going to be at the funeral and showing her disapproval. But somehow The Diva wonders if Carly will come and try to stop a funeral too!
Julie/Jen/Abe I guess we had to get Abe in there somehow to have a memory of Alice. Always nice seeing Julie. She looks fabulous! Enjoyed seeing all the Alice flashbacks but I really wanted more and just not little snippets. I think we need a whole montage of Alice moments from 45 years! Come on Days you can do better than what I have seen so far. Maybe for the funeral.
Rafe/Shane Can Shane please just shove Rafe off the plane and put us out of our misery. Rafe is going to ruin the whole Alice memorial. As for Shane at least we may get our Kimberly/Shane reunion. Let's hope they get that right.

Actually I'm kind of sick of everyone throwing their two cents in about Bo/Carly. Its like Bo has to be with Hope because they are "destined" what about all the crap Hope has put Bo through? Its like tptb are trying to make me feel bad for liking Bo/Carly or even Carly herself. Its getting so bad that I rarely watch anymore.
ReplyDeleteI hate to say this but I hate the way they are doing this Alice's goodbye event. It seems so rushed and uneventful, the only good scene from 6/24 was at the end with Julie/Doug/Hope/Jen.
ReplyDeleteThe cheap sets and pushing current storylines during this memorial has also hurt the mood of this event and made it look like a joke.
Despite the WGA debacle, Sony/Corday shouldn't have fired Ed Scott because, I believe, under his influence, this memorial would of have been more worth watching where as Tomlin and gang doesn't know how to make cheap look good.
Wow! ! didn't know Days was so bad right now.
Bill and Maggie would be a perfect fit for Passions but not Days.
I like Bo and Carly together and I think Kayla needs to shut her big mouth. She should be greatfull to Carly for killing Lawerence after what Lawrence did to Steve. Carly did not break up Bo and Hope. Hope left him after blaiming him for everything.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Kayla, last time Carly lied to everyone, and thanks to here lie Kayla almost died along with half of Salem, including Alice. And if Carly had been honest to Jennifer Jennifer would not have been raped! Once Lawrence comes back she will dump Bozo yet again.
ReplyDeleteI like Bo and Carly. Hope needs to eat something because she is very sick looking and just deal with the fact that she walked away and Bo moved on. They will end up back together because that is just how Days does things but I like Carly and people need to back off her.
