ReplyDeleteHi Charlie,
ReplyDeleteI've been a fan of yours since The Nanny. I have a question, is there a chance you and Fran Drescher ever work together again? You've always had such great chemistry on screen, on The Nanny and then on Living with Fran. Take care and wish you all well in your career.
I have everyone's questions written down. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey Charlie,
ReplyDeleteI'm Karine, I'm from Belgium and I have this question :
What would you do so you may play de head role in a movie ? Shaving your head (bald), getting fat (+ 20 kilo) or getting nude in the movie ?
Thank you verry much.
Karine
Hello from Canada, Charles.
ReplyDeleteI loved watching Kimberly and Shane's love story in the 1980s.
I have two unrelated questions for you:
1. What do you admire the most about Patsy Pease, both personally and professionally?
2. What traits do you like to see most in the characters you play?
Thanks for doing this interview. :)
Jo
Hi,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Jen and I am from NY. What was it like playing Shane's twin Drew in the late eighties? He was so different from Shane. I loved both characters.
sorry, i have one more question to ask if possible.
ReplyDeletedo you ever feel typecast (as the handsome englishman, etc)? if so, does it bother you?
Hello Charlie
ReplyDeletefrom Liane
Would you do another NYC (Broadway or off B/Way)
stint, even if it means being away from family for a longer time ?
I will ask my question here in case the phone lines get blocked like they did for the Mary Beth interview.
ReplyDeleteHello Charles, my name is Mary and I would just like to say what a huge Kim and Shane fan I was back in the 80s. My question is, do you have a favorite memory or storyline from the Shane/Kim years? And is there any chance that you and Patsy would ever come back to Days?
Hello Charlie:
ReplyDeleteYou did Camelot on stage, any interest in doing
Spamalot (especially a screen adaptation), since you are so terrific at comedy!
Also, when does the movie Audrey - that you filmed earlier this year come out ?
All the best to you...

i want to know if charlie ever burst out laughing while doing a scene in The Nanny?
ReplyDeleteHi! love your acting! Was wondering: What is your next project? And will you be doing Days of Our Lives again in the future?
ReplyDeleteHey Charles,
ReplyDeleteThanks for inviting me to your Internet Radio Interview! That's very sweet of you for thinking of me! I have two questions to ask you! My first question is, how come the show, Living with Fran got canceled? It was a really good show and I miss it very much! And my last question for you is, are you and Fran Drescher ever going to work together again? Cause you guys are great! :)
Mr. Shaughnessy,
ReplyDeleteI'm from Africa, used to watch reruns of the Nanny in the mid 90s in Kenya, people really liked the show. I just caught on to your work on Days recently on Youtube.
My question is about sports, since you seem to like football:-) We Africans are still in mourning for Ghana but I know I won't miss the world cup final! Whom are you supporting? The Dutch or Spain? Also, for the England vs USA match, did you find yourself conflicted? Whom did you support then?
Mr. Shaughnessy,
ReplyDeleteYou have said in a countless numbers of times that your family is the most important thing for you, but I remember one in particular when you said "One can say that one wants to be a big, successful movie star, but if that were the case, I wonder if I’d have the family that I have”
Now, my question is very simple. During that boom of Days or later in the Nanny, did you ever had the possibility of maybe becoming one of those big and successful movie starts and you rejected it just to remain closer to your family?
A fan from Spain that admire not just your work but specially those goals on life.
Hope you are cheering for us, soccer/football fan! :)
Hello Charles
ReplyDeleteI'm you're biggest Fan in Montpelier Vermont.
I have four questions for you.
1. What are you're favorite scenes with Patsy Pease?
2. What are you're favorite scenes with Charlotte Ross?
3. What was it like working with Mary Beth Evans?
Is there any chance you would make a movie in Vermont?
Hi, I watched Days in the 80's, and it was a family tradition. I wish my Grandma was here to have seen the return of Shane & Kim. My question is: During the time you were on Days, did you believe personally that there could really be a love in real life as deep as what was portrayed in Kim and Shane and also, has your feelings on that changed as you have grown.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you again soon.
