This is according to Soap Opera Digest, Shelley decided to quit, her last tape day is February 2nd. No word on Jay Kenneth Johnson's exit.Update: Looks like Jay quit too.

I am not watching, but I read I am not seeing a recast, which then would mean probably Mary Beth will not be needed. She was a prop for Stephanie and was used to pimp St. Katerina. I have to wonder how much longer Wally and Judi will be on the show. I can easily see them doing away with the Johnsons. Then there would be no need to hire Matthew Ashford back for Jack. Corday will spew the say lines that Jack has no family. Then Jennifer will be thrown on to the latest silly geometric couple mix.

My mother used to say that Victor reminded her of the male bird who produced offspring and then had other males raise his kids -- Bo and Isabella, Shawn and Ernesto. I guess that Philip is a case of the chip off the old block.

No, No, No Jay Kenneth " The Dimples" Johnson can't quite !! He's such a fine actor, I'm sure he will land another soap or prime time job without any problem.
ReplyDeleteGood for them the writing of this show is awful and i mean really awful unwatchable (hey i don't watch anymore by the way) so just good move Jay and Shelley now i just hope you will find soon some job on a prime time show because right now the business is hard..economy..economy..
