The Diva was ahead of her time
Why would anyone be surprised by that? lol Way back in 2009, I made an xtranormal movie about Days of Our Lives giving the iconic character of Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to Molly Burnett. Back then, this Diva wasn't much of a Melanie/Molly fan. The writing and Molly's acting has improved. Melanie has grown on me. Back then, it seemed like Melanie was taking over the entire show. What's your point, Diva? How is that relevant today?
Well, last weekend, a rumor has been milling around the DOOL message boards that Galen Gering would be portraying Andre DiMera with plastic surgery to look like Rafe Hernandez. It has been confirmed that Galen will be doing a dual role as Rafe and Rafe 2. The Andre DiMera twist is the rumor. If this rumor is true, then yes, the show is now actually doing something that I made a parody of almost two years ago. I have to say, I think Molly would do make a better Andre DiMera than monotone Galen Gering. IF the show does do a Andre/Rafe storyline I will make another xtranormal parody. ReplyDeleteI do remember this and have to agree Molly is the better one to pull this off, but of course we all know no one can play Andre other than Thaao Penghlis himself. Can you just see it..GG pretending to be Andre pretending to be Rafe? Geeze the man can't even be Rafe! If this would happen to be true, the only way it could work and the only way I would accpet it is if when the Rafe mask comes off we see Thaao's face as Andre. And if not I will be making one of those movies right along with you and storming the NBC studies LOL!
