Finally my Lost blog for the week
Sorry, this Diva has been busy. My memory is fuzzy, not as bad as Farraday's, but hey it's been 4 days since I watched Lost.
So Daniel is still dead. Apparently his journal was the important thing, not him. That's a bummer really. So Jack couldn't convince Kate to set off a H bomb. Yeah, I don't blame her for splitting. Kate's back to being the ping pong ball between Sawyer and Jack. Maybe Kate needs to learn to lead instead of following either of these guys. She needs to be more independent. Sawyer's not into her, Jack doesn't seem that into her. There's always Hurley, I'm just sayin...
So Sawyer and Juliet abandoned everyone to save themselves. Poor Hurley just defended Sawyer the moment before Sawyer got on the sub. The look on Juliet's face was priceless when Kate came aboard.
I'm assuming Sayid is joining Jack because his life sucks. He can't join Dharma or the Others, so Jack's the only guy he has left. Apparently Eloise is quite happy with blowing up the Dharma Initiative. I don't still don't know what Richard is up to. Why would he go along with this plan? Neither Jack nor Daniel talks to Jacob. So why would he listen to Jack? I was hoping this was going to be a more enlightening episode about Richard. Richard flashbacks would have been nice. Still, Ben told Sun that Richard is an adviser. A lot of fans guessed that already. So Richard said he saw the Dharma people/Losties die. This should be interesting. I didn't realize Sun and Richard never met. I'm glad the show remembered that.
Once again, the highlight for me was "Blocke" Ben and Locke. lol Locke wants to kill Jacob. wtf? How is he going to do that? Ben is still undermining him. It was funny the way Ben told Richard in his snarky way that, "you see why I tried to kill him." And Richard just shot him a wtf look. Priceless! BTW, I had a dream that Ben carjacked me with a gun. That is so not cool! lol
So Locke doesn't care about finding his friends and Jin. I'm not really surprised there. I don't think this is the real Locke. The real Locke refused to try to bring Sun back to the island. He did not tell her that Jin was alive. According to some spoilers, we are going to find out what is up with the Locke Ness Monster next week.
Next week's finale should be good. Looks like Team Sawyer is going to try to stop Team Jack from setting off the bomb. I'm assuming Team Miles is going to try to help Jack, but they don't know where the bomb is. Maybe Locke and Ben will get involved in the bomb business somehow.

So, what about Alpert needing glasses to work on that miniature sailing ship? I guess the guy is not some Immortal, because I would wager a bet that immortals would not have problems like mere mortals. So, I no longer think he is Egyptian, and definitely not Anubis. With the sailing ship, my guess is he was part of the crew of the Black Rock.
ReplyDeleteI do not think Juliet and Sawyer were being jerks for leaving, I think they figured that Miles, Sun and the O4 were fine. Sawyer does not know about Jughead being detonated.
I do not think we can take what Ben says to Locke as gospel. I think he has learned from the master manipulator, and he is lying and playing mind games with Ben, as Ben had done to him since Ben popped up. I do not see him lying to Sun, he is a man of his word.
I really liked Dr. Pierre Chang with Hurley, Miles and Jin. I liked how he figured out that Hurley was not lying. And it is evident that he was not the jerk Mrs. Chang and Miles thought. He believed them about having to have the women and men leave, and that was why he was such a jerk to Mrs. Chang to get her and Baby Miles on the sub.
The whole scene with Locke telling 07 Richard that in a few minutes 04Locke who jumped to 07 (who was time jumping due to Ben turning the Donkey Wheel) would appear. And he told 07 Richard to go see 04 time jumping Locke who was just shot, and help him. Then we see Sun and 07Locke, watching 07Richard, and Locke's 04TimeJumping self together. It had my brain spinning.
Interestingly, it seemed that 77Eloise was the one in charge and not 77Charles. He seemed to do what she wanted. I thought 77Charles was the one in charge of the Hostiles, and that she was a victim to his control.
I still am not convinced completely that "What Happened Happened" I think things still can be changed. I am wondering if it might be like QUANTUM LEAP, that "WHH" but it was not What Was Suppose to Happen. They are in the two time zones to change the incorrect past, which would fix the past and then the present (2004 onward).
Yeah, I read a rumor that he was on the Black Rock boat. I guess we'll eventually figure out how that boat got there.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember if Sawyer knew about the bomb or not. I assumed he did because Daniel asked Jack and Kate to take him to the Others in Sawyer's house in front of Sawyer.
That would be awesome if Locke was manipulating Ben.
I did like that Dr. Chang finally believed Hurley. It would be nice to see a good father/son resolution for a change.
I didn't like the scenes with Richard tending to John's wound. It kind of ruined the Richard mystique for me. I'd rather see him all knowing, instead of just a servant. It was fun though to see Richard and Ben perplexed by John's knowledge.
Yeah, it does look like Ellie is in charge. I wonder how things got switched to Charles. Maybe she left the island when she found out he created Penny with another woman.
I'm starting to think Jack does successfully use the bomb thus changing the future. We'll see in 2 days.
That is true the Richard did come off as not being aware, that added to the glasses seems to mean he is not as mysterious as it seems, like he is really out of the loop and knows nothing. But the actor is darn hot, and that kohl look with his eyes, wow.
