  1. I think Days is up because of the romance of
Alison & James. They have so much chemistry it's
hard to believe they are acting. That means they
    are amazing in their job.

  2. I disagree with the commenter. I like Ali and James, just not together. Them together is the worst thing on the show.

  3. Oh please this beckering about couples making ratings or the opposite is silly
I love Ej and Sami TOGETHER and yep they are one of the highlight imho (certainly NOT the worst thing on the show, Sami is herself with Ej and their chemistry is powerful but to each his own i guess) but the stories, characters interactions kind of good dialogue is what makes Days kind of good right now and for that they deserve these up in ratings.

  4. I totally agree with you!!! It's deliciously story-driven now and I too love EJ & Sami together. They have great chemistry.

I also love, love, love the character, Kristen. Man, she is smoking hot, smart and devious. I hope they don't make this character so insane as to leave her without rany redeeming qualities. I love the fact that she is slowly falling for silly boy-toy Brady. They're very sexy together and she probably can teach him a thing or two.

Also, loving it that Chloe is no longer Salem's favorite doormat and has found a convenient ally in Ann! Chloe was quite the punching bag in the past. It is great to see her now fighting for what she wants rather than going off the deep end Bravo to the writers for best re-drawn character
    on the canvas!

Nick is turning out to be an excellent villian. The audience loves to hate him which is a credit to Blake Berris' acting skills. Bravo to Blake1 He's playing a bigoted, nasty, condescending, hypocritical Horton with identity crisis and co-dependency issues. The actor is doing a great job with that.

Kate is always great fun to watch and I think once Stefano returns to the canvas full time she will be even more fun to watch. There was a very cool dynamic between these two characters and I think it is very worth re-visiting...

  5. I should add (i was the one doing the third post) this last week when ratings were up and very good i demos Sami and Ej were together just one day (friday) but the Gabby's baby drama with Sami as the driving force was in full-force so no Ejami are not the major reason ratings are up but the stories involving lot's of characters with major connections, Sami being IN CHARACTER for once as a proactive player were the reason. Add that Kristen and Brady story, Jen-Dan story with Chloe as a desperate interloper (lot's of folks complain about Jen and Dan's romance because of the Jack's issue and i get it in a way, i too love Jack and find him a FAR FAR much better character than Daniel who is too much propped and passive but still it has some fun moments with Chloe's bitchiness and Reeves can play vulnerable, sweet heroine pretty well imo), Eric's return and his slow-built friendship romance with Nicole (still he is too good for her..lol but it is refreshing) and the show is kind of fun to watch again, at least for now. So to sum up Ej and Sami don't make the ratings but they don't hurt them either and seeing these two characters finally together as a couple make them far more interesting players than they were these last years with Ej as a one-note villain and Sami as some passive-pseudo damsell in distress, heroine who needed a guy to protect her (shudder..puke).
