You'd think with all the friends he stabbed in the back, and with his twitter rant against Kristian Alfonso and Melody Thomas Scott, that Nelson Branco wouldn't get a job writing for soaps anywhere. Well, another sucker decided to give him a chance. The Douchebag recently wrote an article for Michael Fairman's site. If you remember, Nelson gave Michael an interview about his twitter meltdown without actually reporting on what Nelson did. No, I'm not linking Nelson's article. Not giving that asshole any hits. Does anyone think this new alliance isn't going to end in a disaster?

ReplyDeleteIn addition to the Emmy article, he's done recent interviews with Eileen Davidson and Cameron Mathison for Fairman's site. I don't think many people realize he's been posting there. It should stay that way. He doesn't deserve the attention.

ReplyDeleteI give my honest opinion on DOOL. There's no ass kissing involved at all. Unlike you, I've been watching DOOL since the early 80s. I appreciate good acting.
Fairman probably hired him to drive some traffic to his site. If Nelson's the best in the business, then the rest of the business must really suck.
How exactly is Nelson a good person? Is calling someone an anorexic on twitter and then deleting his account when ppl called him out on it a good person? Is posting blind items about an actor with cancer a good person? Do you think someone with cancer really wants Nelson writing about it when they obviously wanted to keep it a secret?
Nelson's not a reporter, he's a blogger and a total poser. He tried to fake for years that TV Guide Canada was something more than just a website. It's not a real publication you can buy at a store.
I guess you are the one who needs lessons on being a good person. KA's weight is a direct link to the ratings? Really? She's been skinny for years.

I been a fan of DOOL since the JER era in the 90's and I can tell you that DOOL in the 90's is what soaps need to be right now and that garbage that Days was doing in the 80's that the fangirl like; that's was not good soaps that was a softcore porno soap.
As I said before the press isn't the problem, if only the soap 80's fangirls quit hating on these lovely reporters maybe Fairman wouldn't have to showcase Branco to the world on his site and why he is the best in the world.
The reason I know Nelson is a good man because he's telling it like it is. It's not his fault that a dumb ass actor have revealed to an another dumb co-star his problems, that fool should of known this a cutthroat industry. As for NB calling KA out, let just said that it takes one to know one.

I talk to many people on Days fan boards and they even said that they won't turn the show back on until the actors quit looking like skeletons and eat. At least, we can thank Dena for writing some very groundbreaking storytelling.
Lastly, while I'm not a CC fan or fanboy for that matter, I can't hate on her for the twitter drama. I just hope that Corday will fire all these worthless vets and bring back the Tom Logan era.

Nelson got fired for committing libel on twitter. There were lawsuits threatened against him, so TV Guide Canada fired him. It has nothing to do with 80s fan girls, it's about the shit that comes out of his mouth.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe other reporters knew who had cancer, and had the CLASS not to report it? Even tabloid journalists don't report on miscarriages by celebs. Did it ever occur to you that somethings are private and really none of your business?

I been on SON, Sony Boards and NBC Days boards and many of them said that they quit watching because of the way the actors look and act behind the scenes. They know what they're talking about.
If the other reporters know of a secret about an actor or actress, they're stupid for not telling readers what is happening. At least Nelson is brave enough to expose these talking dumb actors who can't keep their life stories outside of the studio. Nelson shows class while the other people in the soap press lack the class of telling actors dirty secrets. I guess they don't care about making money with secrets; that's what celebrity reporting is these days.
