  1. And Corday does nothing. I do not know why he cannot be a man, admit things did not work. Fire Dena and Tomlin. Put people with talent in place, and listen to what and whom the fans want. Because losing the show is more harsh on pride than admitting being wrong.

  2. I guess the only thing that can saved DAYS is
to turn the show into a talk show. LOL!

I think one reason Corday hasn't (or can't) fired Dena yet is because of that WGA claim that she filed against Sony/DAYS that got Ed Scott ousted from the show. I'm amazed that one
in the soap press haven't ask Maria A. Bell about doing the same at the same time. Just saying.

  3. SOD is not as it was back in the 80s. Back then there were enough soaps that it could out behavior and criticize. Now it really only pushes DAYS and GH -- isn't that why there are SID ABC and CBS, because the CBS soaps and the ABC soaps (other than GH) were virtually ignored by SOD and SOW. Since they really only pander to two soaps, and since there are few soaps not, and soon to be even fewer, they cannot actually alienate anyone. And remember back in about 1999 Mimi Torchin bashed DAYS and SOW was hit by a Corday boycott -- I think he also feigned anger at something said about GH, but seriously Corday hated GH in the 90s, and accused them of cheating on the SOD Awards ballots, he just added GH in his claims to make it not so obvious that he was a spoiled brat that someone dared to criticize DAYS.

Still not sure about the mess, I get confused about all that transpired during the WGA strike and DAYS and the reports.

That just explains Dena, it was after Tomlin took over at Ex. Prod. that the massive firings occurred and that all the ex-PASSonit "actors" came over, and that the show changed to another show. Frankly I always felt that TIIC at NBC wanted JERk back but he died, and Tomlin had worked with JERk PASSonit and SUBe, and they felt he was the next best (or for the fans worst) thing.
