"Oh yes, around here we have several orangutans and a couple of wombats."

Brady makes arrangements to remove Isabella’s, well, uh, Sparkles ashes. Nicole watches Brady drink and rant about Vivian, but unfortunately she can’t hear him. Nicole talks to Keith about his interaction with Brady and how she’s impressed by how professional and caring he’s been. Keith recognizes Nicole from the TV station and she convinces him that she’s not. Unfortunately, all she’s only be able to uncover is that fact that Brady is moving a pet orangutan… and he’s never even had a pet fish.

Nicole pops over to the house to visit Brady and encounters Victor. She tells him that she’s thinking of sending Vivian a gift basket and note of congratulations. Nicole then asks Victor if Vivian had any pets. Henderson tells Nicole that he’s not been able to locate Brady and to check down at the mausoleum.

Brady goes to visit Vivian… and again they have some words about how he needs to let her free and if he doesn’t, Victor will have his head. Ok, I admit it… I’ve enjoyed Vivian being in the box, but it’s starting to get old now! Brady informs her that actually, when Victor finds out about what Vivian has done, he’s going to kill HER! Vivian begs for compassion and Brady tells her that she’s brought everything on herself… and Nicole overhears the conversation. Brady drops the ear piece and leaves… passing Nicole, who’s hiding along the way. Nicole goes into the mausoleum and “realizes” that he must be digging up Sparkles to put in with Isabella… and finds the fallen ear piece. Nicole hears Vivian begging for help.

Victor visits “Isabella”… and remarks how much he misses her. Unfortunately for Vivian, she’s the one who gets to hear it. Vivian watches Victor leave.

Lexie tells Stefano that EJ is awake… and celebrates with a few kisses from Kate. After Stefano leaves, she wonders aloud about the consequences of EJ waking up… and whether or not she should tell Stefano that Chad is really his son. First Kate decides that yes, she will tell Stefano and calls Chad (I guess in order to tell him the “good” news). While she waits for him to arrive, she changes her mind… she can’t tell Stefano because he hates Chad! Kate ends up offering Chad a job at DiMera enterprises.

Stefano arrives and Lexie tells him that EJ has amnesia and remembers nothing from the wedding ceremony on and believes that Sami is his wife!

Rafe tries to see EJ… possibly over Lexie’s dead body.

Johnny has dropped the bombshell that he and the rest of the kids are living with Sami & Rafe. EJ starts to get upset and wants to discuss the situation. Sami tries to calm him down and tells him that it’s really not how Johnny is making it seem. Luckily for Sami, Lexie comes in to run some additional tests.

Sami tells Rafe that Johnny informed EJ that they are living together. Lexie overhears and begs Sami to fix things and continue to make EJ believe that they are married. Sami goes back to see EJ and he demands to know why Sami and the kids are living with Rafe. (I’m dying to know how she fixes this one!) Sami explains that she’s living with the kids at the Pub with her grandmother. EJ gets upset and demands to know why she’s moved out of the house the moment that he’s hospitalized. Sami calms EJ down and he tells her that she is what he lives for. They kiss… and Rafe walks into the room, slamming the door behind him. EJ demands that Rafe leave and Rafe tells him that he’s not leaving. Luckily for them, Stefano arrives and frees Sami and Rafe from the room.

Sami wonders aloud how she’s going to keep this up because stress could kill EJ. Rafe mentions (much to Sami’s surprise) that when she had the opportunity to take EJ’s life, she took it. Sami immediately assumes that he means the night that EJ was shot… but he means about how Sami had decided that it was time to pull the plug. Rafe and Sami head back to the Pub… where Caroline plugs frozen Chinese food.

Stefano and EJ have a moment and EJ tells Stefano that he’s thankful for Sami. Stefano wonders why… and EJ tells him that she’s been his motivation for all of this. Stefano tells him that he needs to hear the truth. Stefano then asks what would happen if he didn’t have Sami and EJ tells him not to worry about it… that he’ll never lose Sami.

“It’s a little drunk out”/”Yo, homegirl… let’s talk about our prison experiences!”

As you know, I've tried to name each day's recap after my favorite quote of the episode. This one I just couldn't decide, so you're getting both!

Brady pops in to visit Vivian. Melanie stops by the Mausoleum to check in on him since she’s not seen him too much because of his break-up with Arianna. Melanie asks Brady why she hasn’t seen him around. He tells her that he decided that Nicole was the answer.

Carly arrives and the three chat with Brady about Isabella and Vivian – much to Vivian’s annoyance. Again, Vivian is being a bit wasted laying there in the box with no one hearing her one liners! Vivian is muttering to herself about how she had to suffer through the display between Melanie and Carly and makes plans to get rid of them when she gets out. Brady reappears and asks if she actually means IF she gets out. Brady tells Vivian that he went into a bar and didn’t even order a drink! He thinks that keeping Vivian in the sarcophagus is the best therapy ever!

Arianna visits with EJ. She tells him about her visit to the police department and how they have no idea who shot him. She promises to figure out who shot him. Arianna leaves… and Will visits with EJ. He asks EJ what’s going to happen when he wakes up. Will tells EJ he doesn’t want to see Sami pay for protecting her children and that it would be best for everyone if EJ died.

Kate pours Stefano a drink before he gives her news about Will. I still think she should have made brownies… but whatever. Stefano tells Kate that he’s decided that Will couldn’t have shot EJ. Ooops… now, what Kate? Stefano decides that he and Kate need to have a chat about the state of their relationship. Stefano asks Kate what would have happened should he have had proof that Will did shoot EJ and that he planned to seek revenge. Kate reminds Stefano that she told him that she would have done anything to protect Will. Stefano wonders aloud if Kate thinks of him as some barbarian. She tells him that she married him because he’s a strong man. And he reminds her that he also has evidence that could send her to prison. They both admit that they think of that tidbit less and less each day. Kate and Stefano share a surprisingly tender moment… and admit that neither one want to hurt the other. Kate finally asks Stefano why he decided that Will wasn’t the one who shot EJ. Stefano tells Kate that he sent the drawer to his “DNA guy” and that Will never touched the drawer. Stefano tells Kate that there were quite a few sets of finger prints on the desk… including Sami’s.

Stephanie and Nathan have a make out session… which is interrupted by a visit from Kayla. Kayla tells Stephanie that she didn’t bring along her dad because he felt that this visit was more of a women thing- Adrienne called Kayla to tell her that she needs her mom. Nathan gets paged to the hospital, leaving the girls alone. Kayla asks Stephanie what’s going on. Stephanie tells Kayla that everything is fine. Stephanie tells Kayla that she’s a bit upset that Kayla came all this way to check up on her because she’s hanging out with an old college friend. Kayla tells Stephanie that she’s not in town just to see her, that there are other family members who have issues and Kayla needs to meddle in their lives too. Cute.

Nicole tells Chloe and Daniel that since EJ is out of commission and Stefano has decided that Nicole couldn’t have shot EJ, the FBI is going to cancel the guards. She’s also going to move back to the old place. As excited as she should be, Nicole still can’t help but think about what she did to make things so terrible with Brady. Chloe sends Nicole out to get more soda for the baby shower… and as she’s leaving, bumps into Melanie – who is not at all happy to see her.

The guests start to arrive for Chloe’s shower… when everyone arrives – at least in Melanie’s mind, Melanie wants to start playing games and Chloe asks her to wait because Nicole hasn’t got back yet. Apparently Chloe is the only one who can even tolerate Nicole! Chloe asks everyone to try and make Nicole feel welcome, seeing as how she will be on her best behavior. The girls play games at the shower to make the time pass. A drunk Nicole returns and is upset that they’ve started the party without her. Nicole has obviously been having her own party and Melanie calls her out on it. Poor Chloe, Nicole continues to prove why no one wants to have anything to do with her. Melanie and Carly both try to usher Nicole out, but not before Nicole drops the bomb that Chloe is apparently keeping a secret from Daniel.

Nicole is having a drink at the bar. She runs into Brady and she tries to explain her actions to him. She asks if there was ever anything that he’s done just because he couldn’t tolerate the way things were. Brady thinks back to his conversation with Vivian before he put her into the sarcophagus. Nicole asks Brady for a second chance… he tells her no and leaves without even finishing his drink! Nicole drowns her sorrows at the bar and decides to call a cab to take her back home for Chloe’s baby shower.

Ian pops over to the hospital… and bumps into Daniel since he requested a surgeon stitch his arm up after his motorcycle accident. Daniel takes care of Ian, but forgets his prescription pad at the nurses’ station. He leaves his phone on the counter. Ian takes it to look for evidence that Daniel was the one who changed the test results. Nathan comes in to have a chat with Ian. Daniel comes back to give Ian the prescription and some words of advice… to leave Stephanie and Nathan alone.

“But it’s Vivian, so I guess she got the insider’s price!”

Bo and the Warden meet to discuss Hope. Bo tells the Warden that he plans to make changes to Hope’s jail stay. The warden wonders aloud about Bo and Hope not being together. Bo reminds her that they are indeed still married and demands that Hope be put into solitary after her infirmary stay. The warden indicates that the jail is her domain – and then says that she’ll do what she can to protect Hope.

Victor overhears Brady firing an employee at Titan… and is impressed by Brady’s actions. Brady heads up to shower and change, but first makes a stop to have a chat with Viv. Vivian mentions to Brady that Carly was there visiting… and having a conversation about Viv “with” Isabella. Brady sees Carly and Bo talking and reminds Vivian that although Carly may be nervous about the whole ordeal with Vivian, it’ll likely be easy to convince them that she’s left. Brady tells her not to worry, he’s taken care of that – with an email to Carly. Vivian tells Brady that he won’t get away with this… but he tells her that he just did. And is caught midsentence by Phillip. Brady tells Phillip that he was in Vivian’s room because he just couldn’t believe that she was really gone. Phillip admits that he was doing the same. After Phillip leaves, Vivian asks Brady if it bothers him that he’s stooped her level. Nope… as a matter of fact… she’s toast at this point.

Maggie stops by Victor’s and shows her Vivian’s earring. Victor is unconcerned. Maggie doesn’t believe that Vivian would work so hard to try and turn Victor into the husband she wanted to just give up and run. Maggie thinks it strange that someone would lose an earring in a mausoleum. Victor reminds Maggie that Vivian has been spending the three weeks there and is surprised she hasn’t moved in! Maggie goes to leave and Victor tells her that they should talk about the real reason why Vivian left. Maggie tells Victor that she’s sorry that Vivian left and that she’ll miss driving her crazy. Victor gives Maggie the email that Vivian “wrote”. Victor tells Maggie that he was stupid for not accepting Maggie’s offer on his wedding day and wonders if it still stands. Maggie tells Victor that she would have given a ride to anyone who was being forced to marry Vivian. Victor thinks that there was something more. Maggie tells Victor that she thinks it best that they just remain friends. Victor tells her that he intends to prove her wrong.

Phillip gives the news of Vivian’s departure to Kate. Kate doesn’t react with as much joy as Phillip expected. Phillip asks her what’s wrong. Kate reminds Phillip of the incident with EJ, who’s condition is the same. Stefano on the other hand… is dangerous because he’s now unpredictable. Phillip reminds her that he was on the receiving end of Stefano’s hatred when he believed that Phillip was responsible for Tony’s death. Phillip tells Kate that he knows it wasn’t Victor.

Carly goes back to the Mausoleum to visit with “Isabella”. Vivian sees her there and begs her to help her…. Not as though Carly could hear her. Bo meets Carly at the mausoleum – she tells Bo that she thinks that Vivian’s not gone – whereas Bo thinks that she left it behind for everyone to remember her by. Vivian continues to make snarky comments during Bo and Carly’s chat… such a shame that they are kinda wasted in there! Carly reads an email that she received from “Vivian”…and isn’t sure how to take it. Bo tells Carly that Vivian is probably admitting defeat at this point. Bo and Carly decide to leave the creep mausoleum and Vivian.

Stefano sends one of his minion’s to check out who shot EJ. Kate hopes that it’s not Will and wants to know exactly what Stefano told him. Kate finally asks Stefano what he plans to do if it was Will who shot EJ. Stefano gives a cryptic answer alluding to the fact that Will would end up paying for his “mistake”. Steffie’s minion shows up at the hospital and gives Stefano some answers that he’s looking for.

Kate is back at the house pondering what she’s going to do to stop Stefano from hurting Will if he truly believes that Will shot EJ. Her mind wanders a bit… to the idea of poisoning him. Screw putting it in the alcohol Kate… just make him some brownies! Kate is however, hoping that it won’t come down to that… seeing as how she’s fallen in love with her husband.

EJ calls out Sami’s name… Lexie tries to fully wake him. Abe pops in after dropping Theo off and they discuss EJ’s condition. Lexie decides that she won’t tell Stefano what’s going on at this point… just as the poor man walks into the room! Lexie decides to tell Stefano that EJ’s brain activity has increased but leaves out the part about him saying Sami’s name. Stefano sits with EJ and tells him that he’s very close to finding out who shot him… and that they’ll pay. Stefano makes a promise to EJ that so long as he fights for his life, he will continue to look for who did this. Stefano tells EJ that he believes that it was Will that shot him, which is unfortunate because he was growing fond of him.

Will and Rafe meet on the pier. They talk about Sami and the kids… and again Rafe attempts to get Will to tell him what’s going on, much to the annoyance of Will. They talk about what they feel will happen with EJ should he recover…. or not… and how the person who shot him will likely end up in jail. Ari wanders into the conversation and says that they person who shot EJ will have to deal with Stefano… and well, she’d much rather deal with jail. Rafe tries to get rid of Arianna, but instead Will leaves. Rafe and Arianna discuss her thoughts about the legal system and Rafe insists that they need to work some things out. So much for working things out… Rafe and Ari argue over EJ and Sami and Arianna ends up storming off.

“Think of a Snake… how many friends do you think a Snake could list on Facebook?”

Hope has a chat with the Warden after her fight with her new roommate. Hope worries that she mentioned something to Bo, however, she didn’t but warns Hope that perhaps she should since the word is out that she’s a cop. Again, Hope begs the Warden to not tell Bo because he needs to get on with his own life.

Tina arrives back to the cell and she and Hope have a little chat. Tina suggests that even though neither want to be roommates that they just make the best of it. Another inmate arrives with books and offers Hope one. Unfortunately for Hope, it’s a trick and Hope ends up in a headlock against the bars. Tina expresses her unhappiness with Hope and the fact that their fight pushed her hearing back three months. Tina proceeds to beat the crap out of Hope.

Bo and Carly bump into one another at the Pub. Bo tells Carly the good news… that Vivian is gone! Carly isn’t so sure. Bo gives Carly details that would make it seem as though Vivian really has left for good. Carly still isn’t buying it. He asks Carly if the real problem is the fact that she’s just used to having Vivian around tormenting her. Carly tells Bo that perhaps Victor is being naïve because he’s so happy that he can’t think straight. That comment finally sets the detective off in Bo… who calls to tell Victor his plans and ends up getting Brady instead. Brady asks Bo why he’d need to investigate seeing as how everyone is so happy that she’s gone. Brady’s not happy with that prospect.

Ciara pops into the Pub and overhears Bo and Carly talk about Vivian. She joins in the celebration of Vivian’s leaving because she didn’t like her and found her scary. Carly agrees. Ciara gives Carly a picture that she colored. Bo tells Carly that Ciara needs a woman in her life until Hope gets out of prison. Their conversation is interrupted by a phone call from the Warden. Bo finds out that Hope was attacked… twice and this time has ended up in the hospital.

Victor, Brady, Justin and Maggie talk about Vivian’s leaving… much to her chagrin, seeing as how she’s stuck listening to the whole conversation. Victor asks Maggie to the house for a drink and at first Maggie rejects the idea, but ultimately accepts. Victor, Justin and Maggie head back to the house, leaving Brady alone to chat with Vivian. Vivian demands that Brady let her out of the sarcophagus. Brady tells her no… and Vivian tries to guilt trip him a bit. Gotta love the fact that Vivian used all the excuses that Gus threw at her and then she’s surprised when Brady doesn’t cave! Finally Vivian offers to give up Victor in exchange for her freedom… and Brady tells her that she already has. Brady goes back and check on loose ends and again Vivian prods him… asking if he can really stand to stoop down to her level. Brady tells her to shut the hell up… and unfortunately is overheard by Maggie, who asks who he’s talking to.

Brady tells Maggie that he was just having an emotional outburst over trying to say goodbye to his mom. He leaves to try and figure out his last plans. Vivian flips through the channels… and learns that Victor is already clearing the house of anything to do with her. Maggie meanwhile stays behind for a few quite moments with “Isabella”. She finds Vivian’s earring laying next to the sarcophagus.

Victor asks Justin to file for his divorce. Justin tells him that it’s not a good idea at this point. Maggie suggests that perhaps they talk to some of Vivian’s friends. Victor laughs it off and reminds them that Vivian had no friends and then take Maggie to the bedroom to show her how he knows that Vivian is gone. Vivian flips through the channels and finds the scene between Maggie and Victor appalling and resorts to name calling… “bitch, slut, whore!” Maggie leaves to check on Brady and Victor nearly dances a jig.

Will tells Rafe to bring it on… if he really thinks that he shot EJ, then charge him. Rafe tells Will that he needs to know what really happened because if Stefano THINKS that Will shot EJ, then he’s not going to wait for proof. Will flashes back to the scene where Sami confessed to him that she did indeed shoot EJ. Rafe tells Will that whoever shot EJ or whoever Stefano THINKS shot EJ is going to need protection. Will asks if it’ll be Rafe providing it. Rafe tells Will about how he made a promise to Sami and finally Will asks Rafe if he intended to lie for Will if he did indeed shoot EJ. Rafe tells Will that he’s changed and isn’t the same rigid FBI guy and he intends to take care of those who are important. Again, Rafe asks Will to tell him what’s going on.

Stefano and Sami discuss whether or not Will shot EJ. Well, argue is more like it. Sami finally tells Stefano that she’ll tell him the truth – how she knows that it definitely wasn’t Will who shot EJ. Kate jumps in to break the two up and defends Will as well. Sami and Stefano continue to argue and finally Sami tells him that Will was willing to give Stefano another chance at this point… even though she’s told him all about Stefano. Stefano admits that he knows Will does care for him, but that Will’s anger was so explosive that perhaps he snapped and did shoot EJ. Sami and Kate again try to defend Will, but are interrupted by a phone call from Lexie telling Stefano that he should get down to the hospital.

EJ’s status changes…

Stefano, Kate and Sami arrive to EJ’s room and Lexie explains that there had been an increase in EJ’s brain activity. EJ begins to shake and moan – Stefano rushes to his side in hopes to EJ’s awakening and telling of who shot him. Unfortunately, EJ reverts back to his previous state and a disappointed Stefano leaves the room.

Rafe and Will arrive to “comfort” Sami. Again Stefano warns that whoever did this to his son, better be worried now. More fighting and posturing between Sami and Stefano and Sami eventually tells Will that she needs to speak to him. Kate mentions to Rafe that she’s concerned as to what Stefano might do. Stefano asks if Rafe is talking to Kate about the case and Rafe indicates that it’s not something the FBI are handling, he needs to go to the police. Stefano makes a comment about the Brady Police Department – that if a member of that family had anything to do with the shooting; it would just be glanced over. Rafe reminds Stefano that Hope is currently sitting in jail. Point taken.

Sami informs Will that he’ll be leaving with Roman… because he needs to protection. Will doesn’t understand, seeing as how he seems to be considering taking the fall for his mother. Sami admits that if she HAS to, she will come clean. Will doesn’t like that idea and suggests that she talks to Rafe about what she did. Sami tells Will that there is no reason to tell Rafe, but Will tells Sami about his conversation. Will tells Sami that Rafe can offer her protection. Sami doesn’t want to involve Rafe because he could lose his whole world if the truth comes out. Rafe walks in on the two of them… they end their conversation and leave the hospital.

“I know what you did.”

Lexie walks out of EJ’s room and into the argument between Sami and Stefano. Lexie tells them that EJ opening his eyes was only an involuntary reflex… he still has diminished brain activity.

Sami sends Rafe to check on the kids so that she has an excuse to go and talk to Kate. Kate demands an answer to her question about what Sami did AFTER Kate called her. Kate accuses Sami of shooting EJ. Sami denies that she shot EJ, that after she spoke to Kate she went to bed and that Rafe will swear that she was with him all night. Kate tells Sami that she believes her, but that it’s best that they don’t mention the phone call between the two of them. Again, it hits Sami that really hadn’t put much thought into shooting EJ, that she just went and did it.

Rafe breaks the news about EJ’s shooting to Caroline and Will. Will rushes off to the hospital to talk to Sami. Will sees Sami in the waiting room and allows her to ramble on about how things are a shock. Finally he tells her to stop… because he knows that she did. Sami asks what he means and he tells her that he knows what she did the night before… to EJ. Will happened to be at the DiMera mansion the night before and saw Sami leave a few minutes after the police say that EJ was shot. Sami is pissed that Will went back to the house and is even MORE pissed that he went back to talk to Stefano. Will finally tells her that he couldn’t just leave it alone which is why he went back… just like she went back because she couldn’t let it alone and he saw her leave with something in her hand that looked like a gun. Sami tells him that she didn’t have a gun in her hand when she left. Finally she admits that she was at the mansion and asks him to not mention anything to anyone. Sami breaks down and starts to tell Will what happened, but Rafe walks in.

Carly and Chloe discuss Chloe’s partnership with Vivian. Carly tells Chloe that she believes that Chloe is sorry and that the two of them need to put the whole thing behind them. Chloe tells Carly that she’s not sure that everything will still be ok because Vivian could still ruin everything. Chloe seems to think that Vivian may figure out that the two of them are keeping secrets from Daniel.

Nathan arrives home on a break just as Ian is leaving. Nathan asks why Ian has been hanging around so much. Stephanie again uses the excuse of the hospital computer program, although Nathan doesn’t seem to be buying it. Nathan tells Stephanie that Ian is extending his tutoring of the new computer program because he has a huge crush on her. Nathan of course understands…. Because he has a crush on her too.

Vivian and Gus look over the sarcophagus. Gus warns Vivian that there is a chance that her plans may backfire. She makes Gus get in so that she can run a test and make sure that everything is in working order. Poor Gus doesn’t enjoy the idea. Vivian runs through the various channels on the screen and then turns off the camera. Gus screams at the top of his lungs and to Vivian’s enjoyment, she can’t hear him. Viv finally lets Gus out and he tells her that he absolutely can NOT put Maggie in there. Vivian and Gus are still arguing about her plans when Carly arrives. Carly and Vivian have a lovely chat about how Vivian thinks of mausoleums the same way that people think of rec rooms. Vivan threatens to sic Gus on her, but Carly then recalls how the last time they met – he ended up on the floor.

Maggie offers Melaine Chez Rouge for Chloe’s shower. Melanie sweet talks Maggie into staying around long enough to help her plan the shower. Melanie then tried to talk Maggie into staying around Salem permanently in Salem. Mel tells Daniel that she’s worried about Maggie, but he tells her not to worry because she’s a tough lady.

Abe tells Lexie and Stefano that they got the forensics on the bullet. Bullet was from a gun with a silencer on it and Abe asks if they have any guns around the Mansion. Stefano tells him no, that they don’t keep anything around because of the grandchildren. However, Steffy is looking a little pale at that news and decides that he’s not feeling well and wants to go home to rest a bit. Stefano and Kate arrive him and the first thing Stefano does is open the drawer and pull out the now empty box that once held a gun. Stefano again points his finger to Sami.

Victor and Ciara enjoy a picnic and a game of checkers at the lake. Ciara tells him that she doesn’t want to live with Bo and Carly, she’d rather live with him. Victor tells her that it wouldn’t work out well with him… and that Bo would miss her. Victor then asks Ciara to try and get along with Carly for Bo’s sake. Maggie overhears the conversation and it softens her a bit… until she remembers that he’s married! Her revelation makes her decide that she really does need to leave for her trip after all. Melanie tells Maggie that it appears to her that Maggie is trying to run away from whatever problems she’s having with Victor.

"...We always come back together because of the love and the grandchildren..."

Stefano still suspects Sami (6th sense, eh) shot EJ and promises her that he will find out who shot his son. Watch out Sami, you know better than to end up Steffy’s bad side.

Stefano visits EJ. Daniel tells Stefano that there’s been no change in EJ’s condition and that he’s not sure when EJ will wake up. Lexie sits with a devastated Stefano – who tells her that his life is in pieces. She tells him that she really doesn’t know what will happen and that they should prepare themselves for whatever will happen. Stefano sends her off while he holds vigil at EJ’s bedside. Stefano launches into a speech about how fathers shouldn’t have a favorite son, but he does and it’s EJ (Ouch… poor, head bashed on a chunk-o-wood Tony!). Stefano explains that even though the two have fought, they always made it back to one another. He tells EJ to be strong and that he needs to pull through – for his children. Stefano tells EJ that he feels as though who ever shot him, shot the wrong man and that Stefano would take his place if he could. Stefano tells EJ that he will never give up on him.

Sami asks Daniel about EJ’s condition. He explains that EJ’s vitals are weak, but steady and he has diminished brain activity. Sami asks for his advice about what she should do about EJ’s care. Sami wants to know when it’s the right time to pull the plug… since shooting a drunk and passed out man doesn’t really seem like ideal timing. Daniel tells her that every case and person is different and reminded her that Chloe was once in a coma and came back. Rafe appears and Sami tells him about her unsatisfactory conversation with Daniel. Duh, Sami… no one is going to help you finish EJ off! Rafe suggests to Sami that perhaps she should sit with EJ to see if that helps her make her decision… seeing as he might die anyway and this could help everyone with the process of moving on. Sami decides to take Rafe’s advice and sit with EJ and Stefano tries and stops her. Lexie explains that Sami has a right to sit with EJ. Stefano rants to Rafe about how Sami has done nothing but cause EJ pain and Rafe tells him that perhaps the wrong DiMera was shot and that he wished who ever shot EJ would have taken out the whole DiMera clan. And with that Rafe, you’ve bought yourself a one way ticket down the steps of the pier… and that chunk-o-wood in which to bash your head is included in with admission. Lexie breaks up the two men and tries to explain to Abe what is going on and breaks down in Stefano’s arms.

Sami goes into EJ’s hospital room… and realizes what she’s done. Of course it now hits her because Sami NEVER thinks anything through! Jackass… you better hope he doesn’t wake up! Oh, and on that note… EJ opens his eyes!!! Sami tells Stefano, Rafe and Kate that EJ opened his eyes… and she can’t believe it. Stefano accuses Sami of NOT wanting EJ to open his eyes (uh, ya think?!). Lexie rushes in, but is unable to wake EJ again.

Vivian continues to annoy Carly & Chloe with her quiz about why the two of them have become such good friends. Vivian plants the seed about Chloe trying to kill Carly at the hospital and leaves. The girls take a walk to the pier and Chloe confesses that she almost killed Carly with the faulty elevator. Carly doesn’t take the news well. Chloe tells the story from the beginning… and tells Carly that she had never felt so jealous or insecure about someone. Of course, Vivian sees Chloe’s desperation and steps in.

Maggie tells Melanie that it’s her fault that Vivian is trying to be bff’s with Melanie. Maggie thinks that Vivian is trying to get in good with Melanie in order to get in good with Victor. Melanie tells Maggie that she’s going to book the trip today and Melanie realizes that Maggie is leaving because of Victor. Maggie adamantly denies that she’s booking the trip because of Victor, end of discussion.

Melanie pops over to see Daniel and tells him that she’s planning Chloe’s baby shower and if he’s good, she’s invite him as well. Maggie also pops over to Daniel’s to drop off a baby gift because she won’t be in town for Chloe’s baby shower. Daniel asks if she planned this spontaneously and Maggie tries to explain that she thinks that taking the trip she and Mickey planned won’t be very comforting. He asks Maggie if there is another reason why she’s leaving.

Ian works to find out who changed the paternity test results. He finally makes it into the computer system and tells Stephanie that it wasn’t Phillip who changed the rest results. Stephanie automatically assumes that it was Chloe who changed the results… nope, wrong again! But, WHO exactly would have done it? Carly perhaps?

Phillip goes to see Vivian and tells her to stay away from Melanie. Vivian tells Phillip that she’s planned to have Isabella’s remains moved into a beautiful sarcophagus. Phillip sees right through her and asks what she’s really planning. Vivian and Phillip have a bit of a shouting match and Phillip tells Vivian that NO ONE cares what she thinks… and that you can’t fix a marriage made in hell by moving around dead bodies. Victor comes in and asks what’s going on. Phillip explains that he and Vivian were “discussing” fact that Vivian is stay away from his family. Vivian was trying to explain how she just had his best interests at heart and Phillip tells her that she doesn’t have a heart. Vivian runs away crying. Vivian, crying??? What the hell is wrong with this picture?! Phillip asks why Vivian is still around and then tells him that there must be someone out there who Victor could love… and really love. Hmmm, is Victor thinking of Maggie – his newest interest or Caroline, the love that has spurned him so many times in the past?

“Half the town has motive…”

ShareRafe tells Sami that if EJ doesn’t make it, they’ll find a way to cope and tell the kids together. Sami decides that she needs to go to the hospital to get more information on EJ’s condition. Rafe goes with her.

Nathan thinks back to his conversation with Chloe about her affair. He runs into Chloe, Melanie and Phillip at the Cheatin’ Heart. Nathan asks why they ended up there and Melanie explains that they brought her down there to talk to her about something. Melanie apologizes to Nathan for being t he reason why his elbow was hurt. Chloe and Phillip talk about how their lives are turning out the way that they are supposed to be. Stephanie walks in to the bar to see Melanie fawning over Nathan.

Stephanie goes outside to call Ian to see if he’s figured out who has changed the paternity test.

Melanie brings back some drinks to the table and suggests to Chloe that she’d like to throw her a baby shower. Chloe is happy with the idea and suggests that Daniel would be thrilled. Melanie launches into ideas for themes and apparently that is Phillip’s cue to leave… seeing as how he’s a guy and all.

Phillip goes to talk to Nathan about their conversation from last week… or whenever it was in soap world. He wants to go ahead with the funding of the new equipment for the children’s ward. Nathan remarks that speaking of the children, Chloe seems pretty excited. Phillip corrects him about how she’s over the moon pretty much – which Stephanie takes as meaning that Phillip now knows that he is the real father of Chloe’s baby… and not Daniel. Stephanie plays her impeccable timing off by faking shock that Phillip mentioned that Chloe was pregnant. Nathan leaves and Stephanie hangs out to listen to Melanie describer her ideas for the baby shower. Melanie and Chloe head off to go shopping leaving Phillip a bit sad about being left alone… until they invite him to go along. He wants no parts of the shopping. Stephanie pops over to Phillip’s table and tries her best get information from Phillip, who’s on to her and asks her exactly what she needs to know. Stephanie alludes to the fact that Phillip and Chloe were lovers and that perhaps there may be some tension when he, Chloe and Daniel are all together. Phillip tells her that’s not the case. Stephanie tells Ian that if Phillip changed the results, he did so from the computers at Titan.

The girls take a shopping break at the pub, where Carly runs into them. Carly tells Chloe that from now on, the past will stay in the past. Melanie rambles on about her ideas for the baby shower… red carpets, gowns, expensive jewelry. Luckily she’s kidding… but she’s not kidding when she tells Vivian (who happens to wander into the pub to hear the conversation) that she’s not invited. Vivian is shocked and wants to know why… Melanie tells her it’s because NO ONE LIKES HER. Melanie leaves and Vivian settles in because she wants to know why Carly & Chloe are now such friends.

Lexie updates Bo on EJ’s condition. Bo tells Stefano that he’s just spoken to Sami and she’s very worried about the kids losing their father. Carly interrupts the discussion to tell everyone that EJ’s vitals are improving and that they are very hopeful. At that point, everyone turns to see Sami & Rafe there at the hospital. Stefano accuses Sami of trying to kill EJ. Rafe tells him to back off because Sami was with him all night. Stefano then accuses Sami of hiring someone to kill EJ and Bo reminds Stefano that he need not go there…. Seeing as how he is a fan of hiring hitmen himself. Stefano is shocked that Bo would even consider the thought that Stefano would hire someone to kill his own son… Well, Steffie – if the shoe fits! Sami suggests that EJ will be able to tell them what happened when he wakes up…provided he has no brain damage. Carly interjects that EJ is making progress with each passing hour, so it’s very likely that he’ll make a full recovery. Stefano decides he need to get some air while Kate decides she needs to talk to Sami about their phone call from the night before…

Daniel and Carly check on EJ. Bo asks if it’s ok for him to come in. Daniel remarks that it’s strange that just last night he was pulling EJ off of Nicole. Daniel then explains that there was no way that Nicole could have gotten out to shoot EJ… even if she had the motive. Bo quips, “Half the town has motive…”. Daniel heads out to get EJ’s test results.

Bo thinks back to his conversation with Sami about her alibi. Later on, Bo pops over to the pub where he bumps into Kate and tries to finish the conversation that they had heard early. Bo asks Kate if she’s SURE that there’s nothing else… of course she’s not hiding anything, Bo!

Rafe finds Sami sitting alone in a waiting area and offers to take her home. He asks her what she and Kate were discussing. Rafe tells Sami that she seems kind of shaken and at that, Sami bites his head off and decides that they should leave. On their way out, they stop and ask Stefano if he’s heard anything. Stefano launches into a tirade about how he’s not dead… and then calls Sami a whore for jumping from EJ’s bed into Rafe’s… (again… Sami, if the shoe fits). Sami launches into her own tirade about how Stefano know what EJ was doing with Sydney. And finally Rafe tells Stefano to shut the hell up. Meanwhile EJ is having difficulty – he’s in shock from the blood loss. Carly brings Stefano up to speed but doesn’t answer his questions. He gets upset and Lexie attempts to comfort him. Hmmm, strangely… Sami looks pleased about the sudden turn of events (not sure why, though. Ha!)

Carly tells Lexie that she’s checking out for the night and Daniel will be around to take over EJ’s care. Stefano tells Lexie that anything that EJ needs, he’s to get… regardless of EJ’s wishes… he’ll get whatever he needs to survive. Lexie tells Stefano that it’s not up to him to make decisions regarding EJ’s care. That decision is left for Sami. Oh, that went over like a ton of bricks… with EVERYONE. Lexie explains that the living will that EJ signed just before the ceremony leaves Sami as the responsible party to make decisions for him… should he be unable to. Stefano tells Lexie that he’s changing the document because he’s not going to have EJ’s life rest in Sami’s hands…. Just wait until he finds out that it already has and that Sami tried to end it!!! Stefano again attacks Sami’s virtue and the fact that she’s a Brady. Sami offers to give up the Power of Attorney and Lexie tells her that it’s not possible unless EJ changes things or they go before a judge. Stefano decides to go ahead and bring a judge down to the hospital.

Maggie works on planning her trip and is interrupted by a phone call from Victor. She quickly gets rid of him and much to Vivian’s annoyance… Victor leaves the house.

Hair today.... gone tomorrow....

Share
Victor and Brady talk about the truce (or lack there of) with the DiMera’s. Brady asks Victor if he got into a fight with Stefano just so that he could send Vivian away. Brady offers his help to Victor… only because he hates EJ DiMera more than he loves his principles. Then Brady asks Victor what Maggie would say when she realizes that Victor is getting rid of Vivian because she’s on to him. Everyone knows Victor’s track record with women, so once Victor starts treating Maggie like the rest of the women in his life, she’ll be on to him… and if she’s not, Brady will be. Victor calls Maggie to tell her that it’s a good idea that she takes her trip because there could be retaliations due to his conflict with Stefano.

Vivian overhears Victor’s conversation with Maggie and decides that she’s staying put. Victor’s not happy about it – but allows her to stay.

EJ’s head is shaved in the Operating room… was anyone else pained by seeing that?! All the beautiful hair… gone!!! Carly and Daniel begin to remove the bullet from EJ’s brain and comment about how he’s luckily that it was only a .22. Didn’t realize that there was anything lucky about getting shot in the head, but good for him! Daniel finds the bullet just as EJ crashes on the operating table. They get him back and realize that they need to work quickly to get the bullet out or EJ may not make it. They get the bullet, but EJ is not out of the woods yet.

Stefano and Kate wait to hear about EJ. Bo arrives to interview Kate and Stefano. Kate tells Bo that they spent the night on yacht, which they don’t normally do. Bo tells Kate that he needs to narrow things down to the people who have access to the house. Kate thinks back to the conversation she had with Sami… and realizes that she knows who shot EJ. Stefano overhears Kate tell Bo that she may know who shot EJ and he’s pissed that he didn’t tell him. Bo reminds Stefano that perhaps she didn’t mention anything because she didn’t want him to take matters into his own hands. Kate mentions the conversation that happened between Victor and Stefano and leads them both to believe that perhaps Victor is behind this – truly ending the Kiriakis/DiMera truce. Convenient, eh? Bo tells them that he will bring the person who shot EJ to justice.

Kate tries her best to comfort Stefano. Stefano remarks how everyone says that he is a powerful man… and yet he has never felt so helpless in his life. Nicole arrives and Stefano flies off the handle and tells her that he know she shot EJ and now she’s going to pay. Nicole tells Stefano that she didn’t shoot him and can actually prove it. Nicole tells Stefano that EJ tried to kill her the night before, but that Daniel rescued her and she’s been with Chloe and Daniel since then. Of course, Chloe would back Nicole. Nicole tells Stefano that she’s been under FBI watch, so that she couldn’t make a move. Stefano tells her that she’s lucky because whoever did shoot EJ has a death sentence.

Lexie arrives at the hospital and he tells her that she must help EJ and find out what’s going on. Daniel comes from the operating room to tell Stefano that Daniel made it through surgery. She sends Lexie and Stefano with Daniel to see EJ. Again, she thinks back to her conversation with Sami and wonders what she has done. Daniel explains that he was able to remove the bullet but is not sure exactly whether or not there will be any brain damage for another few days.

Sami watches TV and has her coffee. She and Rafe talk about the future… and he promises her that they are going to be good. They head over to see her family to visit with the kids and break the good news. Caroline welcomes Rafe into the family (how many times have we seen her welcome people into the family?) Sami tells Johnny that Rafe is back in town and that they are going to get married. He tells her immediately that his daddy won’t like it. Sami tries to explain to Johnny about how she’s been confused and that Rafe makes her happy… way too much information for a kid his age to understand. Rafe finally wins him over by telling him that he can be the king of the FBI office.

Bo arrives to hear the good news… and to tell them that EJ was shot last night. Sami tells Bo and Rafe that she can’t believe that EJ is dead. Bo tells her that she’s jumping to conclusions… EJ isn’t dead. And with that, Sami drops her glass of water, making Bo realize that something isn’t quite right. And if dropping the water didn’t tip him off, then her rambling certainly should have. Bo asks Sami where she was the night before. Sami accuses Bo of accusing her of trying to kill EJ. Rafe tells Bo that Sami was with him all night. Bo asks Sami why she didn’t tell him and she tells Bo that it’s because she was offended that he would even think that Sami would shoot EJ. Rafe tells Sami that he knows what we really going on last night… and much to my surprise, it’s not that he knows that Sami was missing from the bed at one point. Seriously?! Rafe promises to be there for Sami and the kids.

Nicole and Chloe search the news for information on EJ. They head to the hospital so that Nicole can be around when EJ kicks a bucket.

Chloe and Nathan bump into one another at the pier. Nathan alludes to the fact that Chloe may not know who the baby daddy is. She doesn’t seem to like that comment. Chloe tells Nathan that he needs to be quiet because he’s not a nice person. Nathan apologizes to her and tells her that his comment was out of line.

Phillip walks in on Melanie studying Maggie’s cookbook. Phillip suggests that they should have some kind of celebration in honor of Chloe’s pregnancy. Melanie is a bit surprised seeing as how when suggested throwing Chloe a baby shower, he shot the idea down. Phillips suggests that his reaction was due to the fact that Chloe’s pregnancy was so new. Phillip is now excited as Melanie is about the new baby. Melanie again suggests the baby show idea and NOW Phillip is on board.

Stephanie brings Ian back over to figure out who switched the test results. Ian again tells Stephanie that he doesn’t understand why this is such a big deal. Stephanie tells Ian that since Phillip has a tendency to screw things up, she needs to make sure that his secret doesn’t come out… if it was indeed him who switched the results – which is why she can’t ask him directly. Stephanie tells Ian that he’s doing a good thing, although he’s not convinced. He cracks and tells Stephanie that he’ll do it… again. She tells Ian that she owes him one.

Thursday & Friday Eppy recaps

After a few technical glitches, I got the rest of last week completed.... stay tuned for today's episode!!!

September 2, 2010

Sami shoots EJ. (Weak, writers!!!) She stares at him for a while, until she turns to the mirror and realizes what she’s done. She takes off… with the gun in her hand. She arrives at the pier, remembering EJ’s proposal. She finally gets rid of the evidence by throwing the gun into the river and runs off. Sami goes back to Rafe’s and slips back into bed as though nothing has happened… not like he would notice anyway since he never woke up!!!

Nicole attempts to drink her worries away. Daniel and Nicole argue over her being a bad house guest. Nicole decides that she will not have a moments rest until she takes care of EJ permanently. Daniel says he doesn’t understand how people like Nicole and EJ don’t think about slashing someone’s tires or lawsuits when they want revenge – the think of murder. Nicole reminds Daniel that Victor is his Godfather. Nicole brings George into the apartment and demands to know what the FBI is doing to keep her safe and get EJ in jail. She’s not happy to hear that charges are only being considered.

Daniel finds Nicole sitting on the couch, reminiscing about her time with Sydney. They talk about how Daniel took care of Nicole when she was pregnant… and then about her miscarriage. Nicole apologizes for being a downer, but she can’t it’s just the whole Daniel & Chloe have everything they want. She realizes that one of the good things about always screwing up your life is that you are a survivor! Chloe arrives home and Nicole finally gets around to telling her the story. Chloe and Daniel go to bed and leave Nicole alone, telling her not to go anything stupid. Nicole calls Rafe to tell him that EJ tried to kill her AND almost got rid of George. He tells Nicole that he’ll have to call her back.

Rafe turns to Sami and apologizes for the wakeup call… and realizes that she’s not quite right. She tells Rafe that she’s had another nightmare. IN the meantime Nicole calls again… and now she’s not happy that Rafe hung up on her AND that charges were only being considered against EJ. Nicole hangs up on Rafe.

Stefano and Kate talk about next steps and there is currently no plan. Kate thinks back to what she overheard between EJ & Stefano and tell him that EJ will take the kids of her dead body. Stefano wonders aloud that she doesn’t believe him anymore. Of course she doesn’t! YOU left her in the dark at one point. Stefano tells Kate that he’s happy that Sami is out of EJ’s life and that EJ won’t be doing anything with the children… or anything tonight for that matter. Kate asks Stefano how he knows that EJ won’t be doing anything. Stefano tells her that the last time he saw EJ… he was DEAD drunk (and now he’s just half dead). Stefano again tells Kate not to worry… The two arrive at the pier looking for the launch – which Victor has sent away. Victor tells Stefano that he’s not happy about the delay of his cargo. Stefano tells him it was all his fault and Kate snarkily asks if he’s going to retaliate. Victor says he already has. Stefano realizes that Victor gave Nicole up to Rafe.

Vivian and Gus talk about the sarcophagus and the modifications that she requested. Gus suggests that perhaps she spends more time at home instead of with the sarcophagus if she’s truly worried about how much time Victor is spending with Maggie. Vivian tells Gus that she knew she had to make her move when she discovered that Maggie was thinking of going away. Vivian makes a recording of what she wants the hand writing expect to write for Maggie’s letter to Victor. Her first try is just way too over the top… and the second is too plain. Take number… whatever… Vivian finally is starting to sound like Maggie… and is interrupted by Brady. She asks him if he came to visit Isabella. He asks what the hell she was doing there. Vivian breaks the news about the sarcophagus and he’s not happy about it.

Maggie stops by to speak to Brady and ends up talking to Victor. They realize that they are both worried about Brady. Maggie sees the plans for the sarcophagus lying on the table and tells Victor that perhaps seeing these plans for Isabella bother him. Victor tells Maggie that Vivian isn’t thinking about Brady, she’s trying to score points with him… and it’s not working. Maggie admits to Victor that she was thinking of going away… and go on the trip that she and Mickey had been planning when he died. Victor tells her that it’s a lovely idea, although he doesn’t want her to go. Maggie tells Victor that before she leaves, she’ll make sure that Brady is in good hands. Victor gets some kind of business call and excuses himself.

Chloe meets Brady at the bar and he chides her for not ordering a drink and asks if she was on the wagon. “Nope, I’m on the nest.” Brady tells Chloe that she should go home to her Fiancé and take care of baby. Chloe tells him about how Nicole is staying with her and Daniel because of her run in with EJ. The two talk about Nicole and how they are a bit shocked about how they have both let Nicole back into their lives again. Brady suggests that Chloe cut Nicole out of her life before it’s too late.

September 3, 2010

Nicole and Chloe continue bonding… and Nicole realizes that she breaks everything she touches. Nicole tells Chloe not to take the good things in her life for granted and end up like Nicole.

Chloe and Daniel share a morning kiss while Nicole gathers her things to leave. She has decided to design her own witness protection program that involves margaritas and cabana boys and asks Chloe to loan her the money. Chloe says yes… Daniel says no. Daniel says that Nicole can’t leave town and that so long as she helps the FBI put EJ in jail, they will protect her. Daniel then gets a call that he needs to head to the hospital… to do an emergency surgery on EJ, who got shot.

Victor and Stefano exchange words… posturing as Victor calls it. Maggie tells Victor that she followed him down to the pier to see the other side of him. Victor tells Maggie that she shouldn’t have to travel the world alone. Maggie tells Victor that he can’t boss her around like he does Stefano. She accuses Victor of using her as a tool to keep Vivian upset and tells him that if he wants out his marriage, he best tell Vivian himself.

Brady and Vivian continue to discuss her plans for Isabella’s remains. She tells him that she ordered the sarcophagus in hopes that Brady & Victor would see it as meaningful. Brady tells her that if Victor thinks it’s ok, then he guesses it’s ok with him. He’s not happy, but leaves anyway.

Gus brings back more cassettes for Vivian, and she tells him about her run in with Brady. He asks if she knew whether or not Brady visited his mother often because he may be upset to hear that her remains now lie next to a Chihuahua at a pet cemetery. In the morning Gus brings by the letters written to Maggie’s loved ones, he asks Vivian if it really doesn’t bother her that she’s going to be putting Maggie into a coffin alive. (Well, no Gus, seeing as how she’s done it before!) Victor strolls into the room as Viv is reading the letters. He informs her that he is making plans to send her to Tahiti to protect her from his feud with Stefano. Vivian is touched that Victor is making a point to show that he cares. Vivian tells her that he’s just doing it to minimize damage… and that she’s leaving today, regardless of whether or not her plans for Isabella are completed.

Sami and Rafe get it on again… I guess this is her way of getting shooting EJ out of her system? Sami dreams of her shooting EJ… and that Rafe walks up behind her asking her what she’s done. Rafe asks her about her dream and she tells him she doesn’t remember. Rafe tells Sami that they should talk about what she plans to tell the kids. She tells him that EJ is out of her life and they are at peace. Rafe tells Sami that he’s feeling pretty peaceful now as well. Sami starts talking about how they shouldn’t discuss the future because they don’t know what’s going to happen and that they may not end up together. Rafe tells her that everything he’s been doing for the last few months were so they could end up having a future together. Rafe then pulls out a simple diamond ring and asks Sami to marry him with a simple proposal. She accepts with a “Hell, yes!”

Stefano and Kate arrive home from a night on the yacht and discover that EJ’s bed hasn’t been slept in. Kate calls Caroline and has an very pleasant conversation that ends with Caroline telling Kate to keep her meat hooks away from her great grandchildren. Stefano finds an empty bottle on the steps and heads upstairs to look for EJ. Stefano finds EJ in Sami’s room and when he first walks into the room, thinks he is just passed out… until he gets a bit closer. Stefano realizes that EJ is bleeding and holds his limp body. Kate walks in to find out what’s going on and Stefano tells her that he thinks EJ is dead. Stefano collapses on EJ’s chest. Kate calls for help… and the operator decides to play 20 questions. However, that doesn’t sit well with Stefano who tells the operator that if EJ dies, they will die.

They finally arrive at the hospital where we learn that EJ is only alive because on the way his head fell onto the pillow. Daniel gives his instructions to the staff… and also has Carly paged. Stefano offers to donate blood to EJ and tells Daniel that he doesn’t care that he is Victor’s godson… He’s still to do everything he can to save EJ’s life.

EJ remains on the bed bleeding. What a waste of an actor!

Brady heads back to the house for more drinking and sulking… and staring at a picture of Isabella and Victor. The next morning Brady goes to help Maggie with a blown fuse at the house. She asks him to stay and have coffee with her. Brady accuses Maggie to blowing the fuses on purpose so that she can talk to him about his drinking… which he has under control. Maggie and Brady talk about Chloe’s pregnancy and how it must be hurting him. Either Brady is a good actor or he’s really happy for Chloe and the fact that she’s found happiness. I’m not sure. Maggie reminds him that she was where he is now and it’s not pretty. Maggie tells Brady that she knows that he’s drinking to drive Victor crazy and tells him that if Brady feels the need to drink because he’s around Victor then he should get the hell out of the house. Maggie tells Brady not to give up hope.

Carly and Bo take Ciara fishing. Ciara seems to resent Carly’s presence. She asks Bo if he sent Hope away because he wants to be with Carly instead. Bo tells Ciara that Hope is sick and that’s why she she went away. Carly explains that she had a little girl once and didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her, so there is no way that she would want Bo to send her away. Bo tells Carly that she’s really good with Ciara. She tells him that she sees a lot of Bo in Ciara – and she loves him, so how can she NOT love Ciara? Carly tells Bo that he just needs to tell her what she needs to do… that if she needs to leave Salem, she will.

“Loose lips sink ships”

ShareEJ tells Nicole that he doesn’t care what she thinks… and that she’s going to pay for betraying him. Nicole tells him that it’s very convenient to blame her and totally forget what he actually did. EJ tells her that he took care of his family and protected his kids. She asks how he protected them when he pretended that Sydney was dead and told Johnny about it. EJ believes that by telling Johnny that all was going to be ok that it would be. Nicole asks if that is how little boys grow up to be DiMera Men? The watch their family suffer and then are told not to care?! Nicole tells EJ that he best go have another drink while the idea of what he did sinks in. EJ calms down and fools Nicole into thinking that she’s going to safe with him… until he grabs her by the throat. Luckily, Daniel happened to be near by the save the day. EJ tells Nicole that it’s not over.

Daniel asks Nicole what happened to George… and Nicole loses it. “He was going to kill me!” Nicole tells Daniel that EJ drinks, but he never gets drunk. She realizes that EJ was out of control. She tried to keep talking thinking that if she didn’t show she was scared that he wouldn’t pounce. Daniel tells Nicole that seeing as he just threatened a DiMera, he might best off knowing why. Nicole tells Daniel the story of how she ended up blackmailing EJ… and now that he knows she gave Rafe the CD, he’s pissed. Daniel confirms that EJ is going to kill her. Daniel checks on George, who is going to be ok. Nicole asks Daniel why he came back and he said that he just didn’t feel right leaving her. Nicole tries to get a bit mushy… and Daniel tries to change the subject. Daniel asks Nicole if it ever occurred to her that she should have never blackmailed a mobster and Nicole admits that her love of money makes her do silly things. Nicole has a bit of a nervous breakdown in Daniel’s arms when she realizes that she has no idea how long she has to live. George comes back and sends Daniel off, telling him that there will be protection at the apartment. Daniel starts to decline it and George explains that it’s for Nicole since she is staying with Daniel and Chloe. Daniel starts to protest again – George pulls him aside and tells him to just be a good guy. Daniel and Nicole arrive back to the apartment… and Chloe has left for a while. Nicole tells Daniel that she knows he doesn’t want to do it… and asks if he really thinks that EJ is going to kill her. Daniel heads to bed and leaves Nicole alone in the living room.

Stefano tells Kate that she’s over-reacting and he’ll take care of the situation. Kate tells Stefano that she doesn’t trust him to take care of the situation. Stefano tells Kate to “Be Care woman.” Kate goes off on a tirade about how Will may end up hating the name DiMera and her last name is now DiMera and he damn well better make sure that he tells Will that she was shocked and appalled at what EJ did… or she’s leaving and taking the whole house down with her.

A drunken EJ arrives… and tells her to get out. Kate notices that EJ is very drunk… “Yep, I’m drunk!” and again tells her to leave because Stefano and EJ have some family business to attend to. Kate turns her anger on EJ and he still sends her away. Stefano tells EJ that he’s being pathetic. EJ informs Stefano that Nicole recorded their conversation about Anna and the kidnapping. EJ tells Stefano that he plans to take his children and leave Salem. Stefano tells EJ to think about the children.

Sami and Rafe snuggle and he tells her that he’s the only one who’s never lied to her. Rafe suggests that Sami go for sole custody of the kids. Sami reminds him that if she were to go to court for the kids, EJ will just bring up all of the bad things she’s done in the past. Rafe tells Sami that she shouldn’t plan to go to court… just go to EJ and tell him that if he plans to take her kids, she will make them HATE him for the rest of their lives. Rafe tells Sami that she should threaten to tell the kids exactly what EJ did and Sami admits that the kids are his Achilles heel. Rafe asks Sami if she wants to go back to the Pub, she tells him no, that she wants to stay with him. He then tells her to get some sleep and of course, we have the obligatory Hope joke when Sami says, “Well I’m definitely not taking a sleeping pill!”

Sami gets a phone call from Kate… to warn her that she heard EJ to Stefano that he plans to take the kids and disappear. Kate tells Sami that he’s very drunk and very scary… and although he’s too drunk to do anything tonight, she best have some sort of plan for tomorrow.

Sami and Rafe share a drink and she thinks back to her conversation with Kate. Sami gets up and leaves while Rafe sleeps.

Drunk-ass EJ wanders back up to Sami’s room and finds the picture that Johnny drew of the family. In his rage, he throws the rest of the staff out of the house and ends up in the living room, where in his drunken stupor he wanders around looking for the Brandy. He thinks back to happier times and it appears as though the full weight of his actions really hits him. He puts the Brandy down… only to pick up a gun from the drawer. EJ heads back up to Sami’s bedroom with the Brandy and the gun. Meanwhile Sami arrives back at the house to look for EJ before he does something crazy. EJ thinks back to when Johnny was born, when Sami told him she no longer loved him and the fact that Stefano told him that he only thinks of himself. EJ breaks down. We see EJ holding the gun to his temple as Sami walks upstairs… and she finds EJ passed out on her bed. A million things run through Sami’s head at this point… including getting her own revenge.

Kate goes back to find Stefano alone in the living room and tells her about the CD. “Loose lips sink ships”. He also tells Kate that he’s on the CD as well, proving that he knew what had be going on. Kate is thankful that at least EJ has been stopped for now and can’t do any more damage. Stefano suggests that the two of them spend the night on the yacht. Kate asks if Stefano really thinks that’s a good guy. Uh, NO!!!

Stefano tells Kate that there was no real reason for him to tell her about the Sydnapping. Stefano tells Kate that he was wrong about her… No, she knows exactly where she stands… in line BEHIND his children. He tells her that No, he is NOT doing this because she threatened him – he’s doing it because he loves her. The enter the Pub and encounter Caroline, who’s not pleased to see him. Caroline tells Stefano Will has a better picture of what’s going on… and that regardless of what they have to say, Will is likely not going to believe them.

Caroline and Will continue to talk about whether or not Stefano knew anything about Sydney’s kidnapping. Caroline asks Will how stupid he can be - believing that Stefano has changed. Caroline apologizes for her statement and explains that the DiMera’s have a way to making people trust them over and over again. Will accuses Caroline of making these statements because she hates the DiMeras, but she really has no proof.

Deidre Hall sues fan club prez

As reported here first as a blind item, Deidre Hall is suing that crazy, nasty bitch who used to run her website.  Gotta love kharma!  I know many Dee fans who were banned from Deidre's message board because they didn't kiss CJP's ass.  Let's not forget either how CJP gloated over the firings of Drake Hogestyn, Thaao Penghlis, and Leann Hunley on Deidre's message board.

You can read the full story on Deidre's lawsuit here.
