  1. I think its because Days is kinda stalled with there stories. We had the big shooting of Melanie and Carly vs Vivian but now what? They've reduced Carly to a Danloe plot device, no Bo, Hope has her own storyline and I do enjoy watching her knock people upside the head but EJ/Sami is turning out to not be what people want (which is shocking) if anything this is good for Peter R. since the ratings have slid since he left (yea its probably not because of Bo but still he could try and claim it is) looking forward to the Alice memorial.

  2. The bad ratings are deserved. The show is all but unwatchable these days.

  3. The show is going in circles right now. When the stories start moving into high gear, the ratings should move up. If not, then, Houston, we have a problem.

  6. even if the stories pick up again, its nothing different, just the same ole stuff with newer faces and its all stuff that leads nowhere. This show is nothing but a game of musical characters...someone needs to be in the hospital this week, someone needs to have sex (not with the partner they're with mind you), someone needs to plot a thoroughly pointless bit of revenge, someone needs to hang out do a little business on that stupid pier, someone needs to lose and find their kid and everyone needs to pimp the new fbi guy in town cause his skills are so deplorable. Just another day in Salem

  7. To be fair GH has some better stories right now and it is their fallout but Dool has still lost lot's of viewers this week. Maybe if they end up pretty soon the kidnapping story it would help (and i flove Ejami) but this story is too long, moving on..bring back scheming Sami who seeks revenge against Ej; let him pay somehow. After that move them in a business storyline where Sami has a freaking job and built slowly a more healthy relationship between them.

  8. "even if the stories pick up again, its nothing different, just the same ole stuff with newer faces and its all stuff that leads nowhere."

Of course, stories that lead nowhere are classic Dena Higley. As Erika Slezak famously said, "Dena doesn't care about the rich history of the show, which is evident in what she writes. She wants to write stories that she thinks are interesting but nobody else does."

    Higley needs to go.

  9. For a show that's being written by someone who gets storyline ideas in her sleep, these kinds of ratings should be expected.

  10. I just love Erika Slezak. Someone who can tell it like it is and apparently is still going strong. Go, Erika!!!

  11. I'd love for Sami to go back to scheming. I'm so tired of her damsel in distress routine that girl changed Will's paternity and kept it a secret for years but she's letting EJ Dimera pull a fast one on her? She's Sami not Carrie jeesh.
