About Thaao's interview, The Douchebag said that Thaao was too afraid to blame his firing on Corday, so he blamed a dead guy (JER) instead. Also he made a comment that Thaao's "genius" astrologer reads the Suds Report.
Wow. Look who is jealous that Michael Fairman's awesome interview of Thaao yesterday. The Douchebag interviewed Thaao first, and yet got no memorable quotes from him. Even SOD got a few great quotes from Thaao. That's what happens when you don't give a departing veteran actor a real interview by a real journalist. Nelson obviously couldn't be bothered to give Thaao a real interview, so now he's throwing a fit that Thaao gave Michael Fairman a wonderful interview that's been blazing the internet now for over a day.
Obviously the Douchebag is unaware of the Thaao/JER rivalry or he would not have said that Thaao was blaming a "dead guy." Their rivalry goes back to the 90s, but I'm sure Nelson's too stupid to know that even though it's common knowledge. BTW, before JER died, The Douchebag actually started shit stirring to get JER rehired as the HW on DOOL.
Why are gay guys into JER? I don't get it. The guy definitely wasn't hot, that's for sure. Someone please explain to me why JER is such a gay icon, because the Diva doesn't get it. As I have explained before, JER treated Thaao and other actors like absolute crap, but none of his fans will acknowledge that. Thaao's the meanie, and JER's the saint. Sorry bitches, Thaao is telling it like it is. The Douchebag and the JER fan club need to get over it.
BTW, The Douchebag never once said Thaao would be fired by May of 2009. I seriously doubt that Thaao's astrologer reads crap like the Suds Report. Why read it when all the info is already on the internet from real journalists and drop dead gorgeous Diva bloggers?

I haven't read the Suds Report yet. It's seldom my first stop. A lot of the time it's not even on my radar, to tell the truth. But I have an opinion of Nelson Branco.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why he feels so qualified to even report backstage news? He's about as far from objective as it's possible to be. Furthermore, He throws tantrums in print that would do a three year old proud. Is that what he chooses as his "claim to fame?"

I suppose he feels his opinion is more worthy of respect than the Average Joe's, but I don't find it so. His columns have a tendency to be over the top and are often actually INSULTING to soap fans in general. I could not believe he was encouraging fans to "slit their wrists" rather than watch Days. I suppose those types of comments do encourage people to view his column, but I found it appalling that he would say such a thing.
IMO, Mr. Branco is in need of another line of work.

I don't think Thaao is afraid of Corday. Corday told Thaao he can always come back.
The douchebag is an idiot! Why would Thaao be afraid of Corday? He doesn't need Corday and he doesn't need DAYS. Why would he worry about a dying soap when he's going to be taping a brand new show next year? Nelson needs to get a life.

ReplyDeleteLMAO Too true, though considering the behavior I've seen him exhibit in the column and on the message boards where he posts, I suspect he'd have some difficulty holding down a day to day job that required tack, patience, not to mention any kind of savvy.

Oh, I didn't think of NB being Nadia. Nadia kissed Nelson's ass on the soap cruise. I'm assuming that's why he never bashes her or calls her a "hair model" even though it's obvious she's the biggest hair model on the show. I think wawame made the douchebag.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I did not read all of his Suds Report today. I can't do it. It's too hard. I don't want to read what actor he wants to go down on. I think that's why he bashes Thaao so much, because he's not attracted to him. The Douchebag writes with his dick.
I tried to copy and paste from the Suds Report, but it wouldn't show up here for some reason. I changed the color, the size, everything, it was blank here. Anyone know how to work around that?
Diva, once again you have Nelson pegged. You have such a talent for exposing people for who they really are. Thaao loves the ladies. Nelson's fantasies of having Thaao in his bed are a waste of time.

Unfortunately, he writes and loves OLTL.If I have to read one more time about how he would like to lay Tuc Watkins, I think I'll hurl. He's the type of guy who gives homosexuality the stigma it has among homophobes. With all the sexual innuendos (especially the one regarding pedophilia), who can take him seriously? And no, I'm not a prude. I just don't feel the need to flaunt the flames.

Of course he got the better interview. The Diva is the voice of the fans and thank god for her. I always enjoy the Nelson blogs. Keep them coming.

ReplyDeleteI personally didn't take offense about the Reilly comments. I'm far from being a butt pirate but I did like Reilly's work. Also, I've been in the business for over 15 years and it is common knowledge in the industry that Thaao is a homosexual. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
ReplyDeleteWhether or not he is gay he is not a misogynist, JERk was hateful towards women, and it comes off loud and clear in his writing. He NEVER refrained from ruining female characters to further this. I could never understand why this was the case BUT IT WAS!!!

And just how many times did she interview him? Maybe Thaao knows an idiot when he sees one. And Thaao didn't say anything he didn't say when the man was alive. And he didn't say the man wasn't a nice man. He made comments about his work, not his personality. Get a grip, people.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Thaao being gay, big whoop. That doesn't negate the fact that the man has the right to say what he did. Why is that always brought up like it's an insult? Dee Hall's been accused of being a lesbian, too, but that's not brought up as a basis of criticism of her work or interviews.

Diva, I want ask your opinion on something and this may sound like a easy question, but, why is there so much butt-kissing in the soap press? I mean, it's rare to find a juicy interview or a major scandal in the soap industry without the reporters keeping it a secret or interviewing the same boring actors or questions. It's like the people in the soap press treat soap actors and producers like "wholesome little angels" when some of them are not.
